"mommy why is there poop in my shrimp?" "thats not poop, thats an organ, my child" "oh ok" (doubtful) "still think its poop tho" never ate shrimp again
@@tonystank9934 I feel like vein is accurate. There are veins of copper in the soil. This is just a vein of grossness... actually, now that I think of it. Isn't there actually a blood vein on the top of the shrimp? I guess I figured the bottom was intestines and the top was blood flow. I remove both because I am a child lol.
Dear people, Im a fisherman....and sure would like to tell you guys,,,plz always remove the guts of every fish including shrimps cause more than organic materials there are traces of micro plastic materials have been found in them....
Heres a lil fact,we human ate about 5grams worth of microplastic each week dude. Literally a credit card worth. You can chill bout plastic from an animal now.
Me when eating shrimps: "Mom please remove feces i don't want to eat that" My mom: "Its not feces its just a vein, just eat it, you are lucky to eat that, homeless people cant even eat, if you still complain i Will give you rock"
My mom just leaves it there and I always have to check and manually get it out 😭😭 (and it's already cooked, I can't get it out in a straight pull anymore 🙂)
@@Viliana160 I wouldn't worry about it as much on baby shrimp but even medium sized shrimps taste funky if you don't clean them. It's up to you if you like eating poop
I remember when I was younger my mom was peeling shrimps and I asked “what’s this black thing?” and she said “its the 💩 of shrimp” and I was like 😳😨😥😧🤭
The first time I saw my mother devein them, she said that it was poop When I thought about it years later, I thought that it's called devein so its probably a vein or a spinal cord or something This is mind blowing
It’s actually the shrimp’s intestine but yes it’s sh💩t. All shellfish have a similar dark gray digestive tract so be sure to peel it off before you decide to eat your favorite lobster (if you even can get ahold of a lobster in this economy)
I was cleaning shrimp one time and taking these out, and my mom was like “oh you don’t have to take the vein out” and I was like “oh alright” and now I’m throwing up
In Finland the crab time has started a few days ago and we need to learn how get the meat out of our crabs when we are just 4-5 (for most people ) and this is the most common thing people know so yeah.
I eat whole shrimps for many years. I chew the whole shrimp...head, shell, legs, tail...nothing left. I got no side effects or ill effect. I can eat up to 20 big shrimps this way per sitting. The head is actually the tastiest part, thats where all the flavors are in Except if its a very big thing like a prawn or lobster, the shell is already hard and spiny
Me: Mummy, why is poop on my shrimp? My Mom's thoughts: this shit tastes good My Mom: its not poop its either a vein or a spinal cord *Me after seeing this video* Me: I KNEW IT! *My Mom after I show her this video* My Mom: *barfs* Looks like you were right, honey *barfs again*
