Haters gonna hate people should get used to it. If people havent noticed that band doesn't give 2 fucks if people hate them. They appreciate their fans, and are successful so they could really care less. Thats one of the many things I like about them. :)
I've heard Chad say in some video clip that he wears sunglasses in interviews when he looks really tired/hungover/etc and doesn't want people to notice, so that's why.
Chad does not partake in any stiff or hard drugs, he has done the mild ones that everyone does when there experimenting. He said in an interview that its hard enough drinking & performing,

What Chad says about the rock anthems being more difficult than ballads is true. I've noticed this myself when trying to create up-tempo songs. The ballads are far more easier.
I totally love these guys and I know everyone does tere own thing but sometimes we all forget there people like us we put them on a pedestal .I hung on there every word I would have rather seen him sober. No Im not a snot he is living a dream and its a shame he is pouring water on the fire! Why dampen orput outthe flame. There is a time and place for every thing . I was kind of disapointed that he felt that he had to get a buzz to do the interveiw!
im at 5:48 and since chad is drinking beer... someone should make a funny joke and then when hes drinking he should u know... spew the beer on the dude who's interviewing him. XD
He hides his eyes, and looks a little drunk, maybe it will help juice, what do you expect after a wild party, but it is a wonderful singer, and his lyrics are good, I think he is a believer. man speaks what is the abundance of its hard.
