Hey Guys! Sorry about the confusion, we used the wrong picture at 8:58, the filmmaker is actually R.V. Ramani and not Satram Ramani as we've mentioned 🙏🏽
@@vishaljalan140 Vishal is so smart dudeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.. oe Vishal just type the correct spelling na I'm to lazy to Google it and then correct it please
He is one of those speakers who could hold your attention even if you have zero interest in the topic at hand. such eloquence comes only with clarity of thought he just pushed Chalchitra standard a notch up, kudos team!
Shaunak is probably the first guest who has named most of the masters. As expected from the director of All that Breathes. Was waiting for him to name Chris Marker as his idol. BTW what do people think of Tsai Ming-Liang?
Oh Man!! Loved it. Was fun watching shaunak wanting to know your recommendation to know your taste. Good to hear that he enjoyed being part of this. Would love to see him more. Beautiful Episode.
@@sandeshtimalsina3594 I don’t know as it might be a coincidence or I misunderstood it……..but both “Europa” and “Europa Europa” are great movies………Personally for me “Europa Europa” is better
Awesome as always, and very insightful... Just a small correction - the poster that you have used for Bad lieutenant at 21:22 is the movie by Abel Ferrara with Harvey Keitel, and not the Herzog version with Nic cage that is begin talked about. :)
Hey chalchitra can you please interview Pradipta Bhattacharya he has really unique line of work. You can watch his "baki ta byaktigoto(rest is personal)" and "Rajlokkhi o Srikanto" I know you guys will love it
Please invite Zain Anwar who used to be working with Mensxp. He has tons of recommendation ranging from movies to tv serials to food anything related to common man.
I saw this film , it was amazing !!! I had a question , when we say that "all that Breathes" so how should we look at our eating choices , when we consume animals is it correct or not ?
I don’t know why but almost every episode has this one chunk where it becomes a competition of who will drop a more obscure director’s name. Iss director ko toh Burkina Faso ke bahar koi nai jaanta. Iss director ko toh uski gully ke bahar koi nai jaanta Iss director ko toh uski mummy bhi nai jaanti 😂 On a serious note as rightly mentioned by the guest some directors you admire more than you like. I think knowing too much about the director kinda shrouds your judgement on their work. Especially for you lot who spend so much time in the film making orbit.
Shaunak Sen, you are gone now. How dare you diss Richard Brody! The best film critic alive! On a serious note, not all his reviews are from a socio-political lens. Read his reviews of older films, arthouse films especially films of Godard.
