Nice review & well presented. I would like this for my deaf son so don’t need video footage. Would the minimum be:doorbell and the home station. The indoor chime would be useful too. Thanks for posting.😀
Can I use the digital and the mechanical chime? I connect my existing mechanical chime but I want to get the digital too...will both work at the same time? And do I keep the switch on 1 or 2 position ?
I am interested in this doorbell but I am very concerned around a few things such as the volume. We are on a street where there is road noise. The cameras audio is so quiet no body can hear anything and the delay is terrible. This video showed not so much delay but I would love to see a test on a reasonable busy street
The speaker is horrible. On a quiet street the person at the door can barely hear you. Unlike the cameras there is virtually no delay with the audio. It is just a few microseconds off real time.
I agree with others. The volume is not great at all and reception is worse than a cell phone. I purchased my Arlo on QVC. Probably gonna send it back due to camera issues as well.
