This is amazing!! One of the things this passage reminded me of is when little girls get obsessed with Disney movies and have to sing the songs over and over and over again until they can sing the whole soundtrack by heart. That’s what be as believers need to be doing with God’s word. They don’t sit down and force themselves to memorize it, they are enjoying the songs and the movie so much that they memorize it and really grasp the storyline. That’s the perspective we need to have when reading the Bible. It isn’t a chore or something we do because we should. It should be something we do because it’s fun! Because we love to study God’s word, we delight in it!

Wow I really needed this . I read the bible because I have this voice in my head saying " God watches you everyday and he never gets tired nor he complains , then why cant you give him some of your time ". Im new to bible studying and these videos really help

I have to say I’ve gone to church my whole life. Saved at the age of 5 and Baptized at 11 yrs old. But I’ve always struggled breaking down scripture to a level I understand completely and watching this is amazing and you made it seem so simple and easy. I’m going to be ordering this bible. Thank you, Psalms is one of my favorite verses. I am old enough to be your mom or grandmother, but I have found the young people to be thorough and detailed in Bible study. You have helped me grasp the details, although your note taking style is new for me. I am yet in my baby boomer mode of notebooks and journals. But I now use some colored highlights, and sticky notes, instead of only using the one 'yellow' highlight pens I used in college. Never diverting (smile). Thank you keep teaching and sharing the good news of God's words, and the gospel of Jesus Christ, The Messiah.

I am a new subscriber! I just found your channel! I have been thinking about starting to bible journal for a while now, pinned some ideas on pinterest, then the idea kind of left me.. then last week out of nowhere, God put it back on my heart SO STRONG! I went and bought a Journaling bible and supplies! I did one on my own after Sunday's service at my church, but when I went to do another one this morning, I was lost as to where to start.. This video helped me out ALOT on how to study the scripture i am reading, put my thoughts all together and journal it! Thank you so much and I look forward to more videos like this!!

I loved your comparison of chewing scripture to a cow and his cud. I was thinking the same thing! I loved that you saw a silly image in your head that you can relate to, and made something so serious into something light and relatable and clear to exactly the intent. Thanks you for your Bible study! I didn't grow up in a Christian household, nor could we talk about God. My step-dad was an alcoholic, so we couldn't ask questions. I am now 59 yrs old and I am just NOW wanting to study my Bible. I became a Christian in 2004 and it was the BEST decision of my life!!!! Since then, God has done amazing things for me and saved me from ruin. I even almost died 3 times in 2012, and God kept bringing me back to life!!!! I found HIS plan for me is bigger than the one I have for myself. But I have always been "afraid" to ask for help in how to study my Bible. I thought I could never ask for help because that would make me look stupid at my age! Well, God heard my cries for help and here I am!!!! Learning how to study my Bible better and understand what God wants for my life from you YOUNG ladies!!!! Thank you so much!!! I am learning A LOT from you all and I'm loving it!!! Now I am no longer afraid to ask questions or for help to understand something. God bless you young ladies!!!!! :)

I am a pastor and I tell my congregation to marinate in the Word. Meaning allowing Gods Word to sit there and soak and in the end the flavor of the Word will be enhanced.

At first glance, it may have seemed overwhelming but I know now that it's not about how much you write in the margins or highlight; the focus is to truly dissect what the verses are saying so that we Can understand it better and thus "chew" on more of the word! Psalms one is the model chapter for our addiction program. That our church holds every Friday night.I just love how God puts that right there the first chapter which tells you exactly how to live the abundant Christian Life. Looking forward to more awesome videos.

Wow, I am impressed with your study of God's Word. I learned to study many years ago through Precept Ministries and lead classes, and I must say that this is one of the best videos I have seen on the internet explaining your method of study. It is very similar to the Precept Ministries Method - just explained a bit differently. It is so refreshing to see this in comparison to all the art journaling videos, although I think that has its place. I love the space in that Bible, but the print looks really small for someone like me at almost 66 yrs. old., and I wear glasses with bifocals. Even though the Bible is large already, maybe DaySpring could make the print a bit bigger too for us older people and those with glasses. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video and will be watching for your posts more often. Keep up the good work and always remain close to the Lord. Your fellow sister in Christ......

God blessed me and filled me with joy by leading me to this teaching. I love the KJV. I memorized it a couple of years ago. I truly Do DELIGHT in the scriptures!

I was saved at the age of 14. I rebelled because my Father was incarcerated and my mom I feel, used religion to put fear and use it as a weapon for her control on us. I can understand now that I am 52 because she was left with 4 children, Two teenagers at that and two younger ones. I wish I had a mentor at your age. I feel I've lost so much time and now I want to get into the Lord because He has brought me through life when I was not faithful to Him. I cry while I write this to you because when you take accountability for your mistakes and errors against the Lord He blesses you and sends His Holy Spirit to console and restore what the devil thought he took away. Thank you Jesus for restoring my faith and prayer life and I hope my faith blossoms to heights where I have not religion to fall back on but a relationship with God ALMIGHTY the Eternal I Am! God bless. Btw is that the niv version or csb version of the illustrating Bible? God bless sisters keep the faith strong in the name of Jesus Christ Amen ❤️❤️🥰🙏.

Although I have been a follower, student, and disciple of our Saviour for many years, I am always looking for new ways to study. Through this outstanding channel and your tutorials, I am learning so-very-much - and "how to" in-depth Bible study! So very FUN! I am thinking about getting the Psalms/Proverbs Dayspring Bible and re-watching these particular studies - journaling my personal journey!
