This was SUCH an in depth comparison. You went all out. I had no idea the Tape Shape oxidized that much that's CRAZY. I'm looking for a new concealer....What would be good for one like me who has LITERAL alligator skin no matter how much I hydrate?
I have the same issue.. I tried many concealers and either the concealer had no enough coverage or is too drying.. I think what works the best is tarte creaseless concealer as it is hydrating and doesn't look drying after you apply it.. However the only problem with it is that it doesn't last long, so if you are okay with reapplying after 4 hours then definitely go for the tarte creaseless 👍
How about the foundation that you use normally and that's like AT MAX three shades lighter than your actual shade. This depends on if you use something like fenty that had so many shades. Using a lighter color in your favorite foundation allows for your skin type. I know this might be a bit much for something that you use so little of but it would work if you wanted to give it a try
For me, shapetape won the contest here. I would love to see it compared to born this way. I can only afford one so I really appreciate the info before I mortgage my house for a Sephora trip
Me neither! But I've read that if you have really dark under eye circles, a salmon or pink colored concealer will better color correct the under eye circles. So maybe that's why?
My shape tape is literally like 5 shades lighter than my actual skin on the bottle, but when I wear it it looks just light enough to brighten up my face. To anyone buying for the first time I'd def recommend figuring out your shade in person beforehand and wearing it for a day before purchasing

Subscribed literally for the in depth comparison that no ever really does. Even with all of their expensive cameras they never take photos up close without filters or in current daylight so it’s so hard to tell the performance of the products they review. Thanks for this!

It's funny when Tati looks a lot tanner than Tina in the video but the banana powder almost matched her skin tone while for Tina, it still gives a brightening effect.
I love the Tarte Shape Tape. I don't experience oxidization but definitely the drying down after a few hours. Interested in the Fenty one whenever my Shape Tape runs out!
aznfangrl612 If it helps - I prefer fenty for blemishes. I find that shape tape doesn’t stick to them, and if it does, it tends to look cakey or rub off very quickly. Shape tape is better for concealing overall redness/flat blemishes.

That just means that I don’t exactly use full coverage makeup because I just prefer to use makeup to even out my skin instead of covering it completely.

i like the fenty one because tarte is a bit too drying on my eyes, plus i live outside of the us, and apparently shape tape isn't sold in sephora here except online, which is lame, so it's annoying to try and pick a shade

I tried the shape tape on my hand and omg! The color after a few minutes was 4 shades darker than my skin! But when I applied on my face it didn't turned out as dark as when I applied on my hand. Still was just a little bit darker than my skin.. but not 4 shades darker!

The fenty one is less coverage but looks light weight and more natural. So it’s probably good for a natural or subtle no make up look. And the shape tape is probably better for a more coverage and dramatic look.
I've heard that the tarte shape tape is pretty good i was thinking of buying but im not sure yet. lol thanks for the video i was hoping you'd try it out sometime soon but i guess i didnt have to wait too long. Love your videos Tina!
