Important things to note: -The LAW in this game is the HE version, which they means they are effective against infantry, don't make the mistake of thinking they are effective against armour. -for the TOW teams, always pick the TOW-2B, yes it does cost more but is way more then worth it as the majority of top armor is terrible. -White = Kinetic, Orange = HEAT, it is important to know the defence -Dragons were horrible until they buff them into a weapon team but it's appear they got nerfed as they lost their grenade launcher. -Marine and Marine Raider are solid infantry due to their numbers and weapons, they can easily win against every Russia infantry. -Mech Riflemen MMG don't use them ever! They are one of the worst units in the game, their LMG is laughable since it doesn't have the extend range compare to the 50 Cal that the Dragons got and have no AT, overall just get something else instead. -SMAW and SRAW, the SMAW isn't that good sadly, while the SRAW can single handle melt any tank in CQC. -It is important to note that while it's might appear that the Engineer Bradley is the same as the Mech Rifleman, no it isn't, the Engineer Bradley use HE rockets instead of AT. -18:46 Easier said then done, while it's might appear minor, that extra armour can mean the difference between life and death in terms of getting counterbattery so yea keep that mind. -Linebacker Hellfires are surprising good frontline AA as they can engage armor and helicopters...oh by the way, they do the top attack against armor...so yea. -Bradley's don't have access to TOW-2B option...why?
This helps alot for me being fairly new to this kind of RTS. RTS games like c&q, company of heroes and world in conflict is my go to game. For me broken arrow is too complicated, with so much info/stats, needing to resupply and many other factors. So what sherminator is talking about, plus other peoples experince/input helps break down the game. Tried the game once yesterday and there is a steep learning curve. Atleast for me. So thanks for your input!
Honestly this game seems very vehicle dependent especially when I played the demo so if the Infantry unit doesnt have any form of AT its gonna be a waste of resources sadly
I love that they put the LAV-M in this game. I served on one of those back in the day and they're hella fun. Most efficient way to employ a 81mm mortar system IMHO and mortarmen are some of the chillest dudes I've ever met in the USMC.
I have a friend that just got out of the marines as an 0331 and he was stuck carrying an m240b and m27 with all of the ammo that comes with it of course (5.56 for the m27 and 7.62 for the m240b), that alone is 50lb of equipment.
I wish there was an option to assign artillery to infantry units so that they can call in strikes when they get into combat similar to the “fire at will“ or “counter battery” features in warno but they don’t waste they’re shells on just any target like they would only engage enemies that are in combat with friendly forces
13:07 This is an example of them doing what you asked for with regards to heavier armor slowing the vehicle. I think you missed seeing that. The B-kit armor doesn't just lose the airdrop tag - it also loses vehicle speed.

Currently, in USMC, you can be issued, at least: M27 (infantry, combat engineers sometimes, other MOS within infantry units like radiomen) M4s (everywhere, and within the infantry, commonly with squad leaders and fireteam leaders) M16A4s (mostly in the boot camps, shockingly often with M4 collapsing stocks nowadays with H6 buffer kits) M38s (M27s with a Leupold Mk4 MRT 2.5-8x scope. was a DMR from the late 2010s-present. No other physical change to rifle except that this introduced the issue of the NT4 suppressor) M27 RWK (an 11"ish short boi HK416A5 with two position gas block sitting on a normal M27 lower) With the following optics: AN/PVQ-31A RCO (M16A4 TA31 4x ACOG chevron) AN/PVQ-31B RCO (M4 TA31 4x ACOG chevron) SDO/RMR (3.5x M249 1000 meter 5.56 reticle that has different marks for 13-16.5" and 20-20.5" barrels because it was designed for M249s, which can barrel swap between lengths. Ended up used on M27 IAR as well as the M249, as the default M27 optic) M7 RCO (the same horseshoe 1000m multi barrel length machinegun reticle as the SDO, but inside a normal 4x TA31 ACOG. Has all the capability of a PEQ15, plus rangefinding, and if you plug it into a DAGR it can generate GPS coordinates of anything you rangefind just like the M1A1 FEP can. Issued at squad level nowadays, often on squad leader rifle but not always. Then, M16A4s and M4s can sometimes have M203 grenade launchers, or M320s, but M27s can only accept M320s. Yes, I have seen that stupidness done. Also, NT4s on M4s and M27s and M38s often. You can currently be issued like 700 different combinations of rifle in USMC. It's kinda insane. Painting is also common in infantry units now. Green, gray, tan, reddish brown, any color you like.
As for the F-35B, since it has every advantages over AV-8B Harrier II Plus and EA-6B Prowler is, it has an Internal Laser Designator and Electronic Warfare, thus, helping both Air and Ground Forces, like, a squadron of Harrier II Plus with Mavericks or LJDAMs, will guide their weapons to their target more accurately using F-35 Laser Designator. Also, since this game as still in Beta and the F-35B lacked GAU-22 25mm Gunpod and External Hardpoints to become a "Beast Mode" yet, the F-35B will have 4 AMRAAMS to provide Air Defense instead.

In laymans terms of what the other guy said, there are two ways to penetrate armoured vehicles, shaped charges and kinetic. Kinetic, refers to plethora of armour piercing rounds from rifled tank guns to APFSDS, commonly known as sabot rounds. Common weapons that has kinetic penetratio are, well, fireams, heavy machine guns, autocannons, and, tank guns. The second, is shaped charges otherwise known as HEAT. Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't burn or melt through armour. The copper jet it spents is half the melting temperature of steel. Shaped charges, has its explosion focused on certain direction, using a kinetic medium, the copper jet. Shaped charges are used for system that doesn't require the very heavy system that is, annoyingly heavy cannon. This includes, rocket launchers, missiles, and, recoilless rifles. The two has different ways to defeat them. HEAT, being a jet can fizzle out, hence why space armour is commonly employed(and why tanks in Cold War, starts to look very boxy). The mechanism to defeat shaped cahrges, can be used against kinetic, but they are often more reliant on hardness and mass. It's why, as accurately depicted in above vid, armour upgrade packages has more bonuses against HEAT than kinetic ones. And it's why main battle tanks, can afford armour for kinetic weapons. IFVs and APCs potentially can without resorting to ERA but will have to give up their mobility or ability to carry infantry(becuase they will need bigger engine and smaller internal space for armour and fuel)
I've played about 5hrs worth of the open beta and never once got disconnected, my biggest complaint was the graphics being fuzzy when you're zoomed out and then rendering as you get closer.
In 6:35, did you forgot to add the details of the M3A3, or did you decided to skip it since it has the same upgrades as the M3A2 except the Price and the Engine Package? Also, since the M3 Bradley only have 3 Passengers to carry means, the Cavalry Scouts, especially one was carrying a Javelin, means you can have a extra standoff Anti-armor Firepower and Ambush to take out Armored Vehicles and Tanks, although their role is Reconnaissance since they have more view range. With M7A2 BFIST, M981 FISTV, or Scout Snipers since they have a Laser Designator, if used properly, they'll help your Guided Munitions like TOW Missiles and LJDAMs to hit the Target more accurately.
it great game I'm sure, play during close beta and enjoy it so far. But I hope on full release they include the good AI so we can keep play game for a long time.
More than likely, this selection of units were chosen to be balanced for the multiplayer demo. They probably didn’t find it a priority to balance the whole game just for a demo, which is understandable. I remember seeing all the other units in the last demo from last years next fest in the arsenal.
hmm i love this game, realy wish this game would consider having LAN ,coop campain gates if hell and men of war 2 , mod that work in offline, hmmm i reaky realy wish they can make that happen i just want to play offline in case i was not in a olace there is no internet and still can olay with friend with LAN.
Game runs bad on my end too, but if I lock it to 30fps it's fine, I mean, it's a RTS at the end of the day and it doesn't bother me as much having to lock it
I am the only one with units which don't do damage 20 before battle ends?? What a crap... I like this game in general but it is crazy for me when my 3 tanks shooting at enemy tank or truck and nothing happens :( For now still a lot of work to be done on this game, not ready for sale!!!

I am crying about it? It's a game I have ~2200 hours in, play regularly, am level 36 rn, and feel passionate about. It's just annoying to have cheaters in the game is all :)
