Well done Hatton's, you've pushed the boundaries again. Hatton's original releases are a true bar to the industry. I firmly believe that other manufacturers need to take note of all improvements.
This was brilliant and Tony is a great modeller. I enjoy reading his material and viewing the footage on his layout. A great and enjoyable video to watch. That model is beyond words. Simply beautiful and I want one. Clint at Leila Central.
Superb models and Tony certainly knows his stuff and Ive admired his loco building skills for a while so for him to give a big thumbs up says a lot for the quality. A really enjoyable video and I would love to have Captain Cuttle in BR green with the german smoke deflectors as it was my favourite A3.
My favourite is "Sunstar" in the BR Express Blue livery.... The BR Express Blue livery is my favourite. I wish it was "Flying Scotsman" in that livery.
It certainly is a striking livery. We are also producing unnumbered/unnamed versions of all our A3 liveries so you could purchase the express blue model and name it as Flying Scotsman if you so wish!
Hi there, glad you found the video useful! We will have more content on the A4s soon, so keep an eye on our website and social media channels for that. :)
well this is just awesome you’ve come a long way and I love how you’ve captured the look of the A1 and A3 will you be doing a gloss finish for one of the LNER liveries please
Wonderful models, good video. Tony is brilliant, amusing too. He's right about idiot trespassers too re Flying Scotsman, I've friends still in the railways and tresspass in those sorts of numbers is no laughing matter - ruins it for everyone. I love 4472, but I can't understand the lineside frothing. The reference to everyone's Grandad having driven 4472 made me chuckle, a bit like the SAS - the biggest regiment in the world, as everyone knows someone that's served in '22 Reg'.
I know there is very little demand, but I would love to see some of these stateside with a center 3rd rail pickup for O gauge users in the states. Ever since MTH stopped producing there European line, there really is no way of getting engines like these here.
The finish does look very good indeed. There does, however, seem to be a little sloppyness around the fitting of the expansion link and the radius rod on most of the models.
