@@leber99 It comes with the 8 gram 69% pack, which when visiting Boveda's website, is the right pack for an air tight humidor with this capacity.

Curious I have the exact same case. The humidity is at 76 without a boveda pack. I think it's where I store the box. If I put the pack in goes higher and it's the one you use for the case of that size.

You may opt out of cigars, lighter, cutter, etc. and it brings the price down where it should be. At the time of this filming the R40 was cheaper from Warfighter than it was from Amazon.

You could. You can also just put cigars in the bottom then more on the tray. It still closes so long as they’re Toro-ish in girth.

The inside length is 7.5", so yes, 7" cigars will fit fine.

Have the exact case how many 8 gram boveda packs do I need ?

Per the Boveda website, you should use 1 8-gram pack for every 5 cigars the humidor will hold, so for the R40, I'd say you're probably fine with 2. store.bovedainc.com/collections/boveda-for-tobacco/products/tobacco-boveda-size-8

They got the R20, R40 and the R60 on Amazon, why the hell are you gonna pay $200 when it's only $80 for the R60 and $67 for the R40 and $57 for the R20

Am I missing something? Why on earth are they charging $200 for this? You can buy the regular case without the cigar emblems for $50 lmao.

You likely have cigars, lighter, and cutter added. You can deselect that stuff. At the time I purchased mine, you got the case and boveda pack from Warfighter for about 5$ cheaper than both items together on Amazon.

The concept is good but this is a HUGE rip off! Just get a pelican R40 and put your own stuff in it instead of paying a stupid amount for a cheapo lighter and cutter.

At the time of this filming, it was cheaper to buy the R40 by itself from Warfighter than it was to buy it from Amazon. The lighter/cutter are fluff you may opt out of.

Very helpful review. I learned I need the 60, as I want a single case for a pipe and accessories in addition to my cigars. I’ll check pricing both places before ordering.
