That's called nostalgia. It's when you like something just because it's from your past (particularly childhood) and not because you actually appreciate the thing for any actual representative merit. It's the same feeling that makes boomers think that "the good old days" were better, even though they weren't.
The 3DS version will always have a special place in my heart 😊 BECAUSE YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE THE ENEMY’S HEALTH IN THE SPRINKLES MENU /hj But in all seriousness the second screen was useful, but the Switch version’s new features are cool too. The Switch is a lot less vibrant as well.
This game really is hilarious and fun. Truly enjoyed it! I just hope someday we get Tomodachi Life for the Switch. Wouldn't care if it's a port or a new one.
Hey, I was playing Miitopia just now and I went on an outing with my horse when I went to the citizens where the Mii tells the horse to walk, trot and run when at the end you can hear 2 or more miis laughing. It's creepy but, honestly, pretty funny. (By the way that cutscene gives 2 full hearts I'm pretty sure)
I like the way both look in different ways. I like the Switches realistic shadows but I also like the 3DS's better ambient lighting (I think that's what it's called) 11:26 You can really see it in vibrant scenes or in darker areas like a castle. Notice how you can see the Green glow on the Miis' skin. Overall both look pretty great for the hardware they're on!
Not all of them (it will just play a random cutscene for some), most especially the horse camping cutscenes, it doesn't play at all when the horse is not in the party.
The only one I've ever tried was the 3DS version.. because I don't have a Switch. I'm kind of on an "old" (if that's even that old) era. I have a 3DS and a DS. I bought Miitopia again since I wanted to finish it once and for all. I had a 2DS when I was 6, and now that I'm 11 (don't judge me please) I just love it. It brings back nostalgia. Yep, my 2DS broke. It literally broke. So now I just have 6 cartridges for the 3DS, and the next one I'm gonna get is... Probably Mario Kart 7. So ye.
I don’t know, something about the 3DS version has more charm to it, you know? I enjoy being able to see the map on the bottom screen and it made what was going on in game a lot clearer as all of the buttons where on the bottom. I would get the switch version, but it just feels like the 3DS has more personality to it imo.
It's because this type of game screams the 3ds era, it was made for the 3ds just like a lot of MII games. I also prefer the 3ds graphics because it is iconic but the Switch versions has definitely more options and I like that
I played the switch version not even realizing it’s an upgraded port; I legit thought the switch port was a 1-to-1 port of the original 3ds version once I found out about the 3ds version, now I know it’s not. Also I get the “dark room”, “slip”, and “tension” cutscenes all the time
Pour que certains évènements arrivent plus souvent il ne faut pas prendre le cheval , mais en tout cas le jeu est bien plus facile avec le cheval et les tickets qui augmentent l'amitié
The colors on 3ds is definitely better, but the switch version’s customization is just insane, the two cannot be compared with the sheer amount of stuff you can make.
Honestly i think miitopia 3ds is better for one reason it has an entire search engine to look up names correct me if I'm wrong about the swotch version
Personally I still prefer the Switch version overall. The added cutscenes and outing tickets are great. I wasn't sure about the horse at first, but nowadays I'd say it's a pretty good addition. And the Mii customization of the Switch version is just bonkers. Also tower of despair is pretty cool. Not to say that the 3DS version doesn't have its pros though. It loads faster and runs more stably, getting random Miis from the web was fun, and he menuing definitely works better on two screens compared to one. But I think I just enjoy the Switch version a bit more.
Switch=easy way customization focus and building up friendship and horse 3ds:hard way waiting 24/7 to get a event And money no horse and is for skilled players
The Switch Version has better graphics, better Mii costomasation, also It has the horse. So, in my opinion, the Switch version is better, but it's okay if you have a differant opinion.
