The glue smell for the off white 5s has a funny sweet smell unlike other jordans. Its still a glue smell but its sweet. Every fake ive had either has no smell or its a rancid acrylic glue smell. Smell tests are honestly a good determining factor. Also the outsole at the toe that blends from black to yellow is a good way to spot a fake. Just compare with photos online if youre unsure. That definitely helped me.
I purchased my off white 5 sails from Snkrs and I put it under a black light. In certain areas, the cotton from the stitching lights up on both the left and right shoe. So I don't think that is necessarily true about the stitching not lighting up from the uv light.

I used to work at Nike, the box comparison like the glue around the off white or the ydm stickers, around the crease on the bottom having black overlapping or not,.. you can’t go with these things cause there’s boxes that come through like this allot at Nike, Only thing I can go with is the smell of the shoe never had that fake smell come through

This is just my honest opinion so if you’re reading this comment and you wanna get upset by all means be angry. But I think that these replicas are real they’re just not officially made by Nike. This is just what I think and I’ve heard other people say it I’m not 100% sure but I think the Nike pays factories in China to make that say 50,000 pair of shoes and they make 90,000 and the extra 40,000 they sell in the black market as UA’s
Smell test on these 5s are tricky tho, they dont smell like regular Js, realized this when my pair came in from snkrs. You can smell the shoes as you open the box
This is all that matters. There’s no way someone is “legit checking” your shoes every time you wear them. As far as the box goes who tf cares. Those replicas are saving ppl 100’s of dollars lol
better yet. the fakes are using same materials as the retail pair. honestly only people that care about these vidoes are resellers who want to jack up prices on retail sneakers. I also am not taking the word from someone who doesnt work for nike/jordan to tell me if a shoe is 100 legit.
