Hi Lady, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, and feedback, I really appreciate it :) Yes, that is the best advice to give anyone just starting, take your time and enjoy it :) :)
Thanks for the great videos, I've been watching your videos for the last week and they've helped me to paint a piece for my wife's birthday,,, thanks again.
I really thoroughly enjoy your tutorials. You’re the only one I found that actually takes your time and explains everything. Your art is underrated man. Great job.
It's amazing how it started off as a blob of black, then a colored scribbled mess, straight into some beautiful looking mountains. I like your tutorials. They are easy to follow along with and you don't skip all over the place like some other videos.
Hi William, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave this great comment, and awesome feedback, it’s really appreciated :) It's also nice to hear you like my tutorials :)
From watching your incredible shorts I thought you were some Cali hipster. Humbled to hear your are Jon from the north. Brilliant tutorial, very helpful indeed sir
I finally got time to watch this! Your skill level is getting better all the time! And I like seeing how many subscribers you have now. 33,000, way to go!
Very cool, Sir! Thanks for this in-depth, so impressive and also exactly what I need for my own mountain painting challenges on a model railroad background 🙂
Hi Steel, Thank you very much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, feedback, and the suggestion, I really appreciate it :) I have started to list the things i'm using in my newer videos :) and Thats a good suggestion about where to purchase them from :)
@@JonBarberArt no worries at all mate, I'd like to get into this myself as I've always enjoyed various tyoes of art and being creative so thats why i made the suggestion to you to add the materials etc you use and where to purchase them from as it really does help beginners like me 👍🏻 keep up the great work 😃
Hey John love the work ! I’ve picked up spray paint art myself from watching your videos ! Keep up the great work ! And also wondering if you would consider trying out “dang” paint for spray paint art .. ? Love seeing all the different brands and what you think about them for spray art
Hi Jon, Thank you so much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, feedback, and the question, I really appreciate it :) I don't do custom painting at the moment, but i may start at some point in the future :)
Does anyone know if he has an Etsy store? Or any other platform that we could check out his art for sale? Thanks if anyone knows. I am learning slowly how to do this and am really enjoying it! My assistant GM at my job is amazing at drawing/painting but she and I have sort of learned this together-techniques and such. I like this guys work way better than the others I see. Example-The Vanarsdale guy. Johns are so much more detailed, more work is involved, and the scenery isn’t the same every time like others I see. 👍 🔥
Hi Westicle, Thank you very much for watching and for taking the time to leave this comment, and the question, I really appreciate it :) For this one there's no need to dry the paint, but if i'm painting one and need to dry it fast i'll use a heat gun, hope this helps :)
@@JonBarberArt thanks brother! I've seen other videos of yours and you used flames from a can, I just happened to ask on the wrong video. Keep doing what your doing!
Hi Warhobbit, Yes i'm okay, thanks for asking and how are you? It's been a bit too cold to paint and have had other things pop up, I have uploaded a new long video today, with more to come, so hopefully i be back to painting more now :)
@@JonBarberArt glad to hear Jon 👍🏼 Yea all good thanks still practicing my painting following your advice etc That’s fantastic I’ll check your new video Once again Many thanks Jon
