I found that the tape you used for the fur on the bed is really expensive where I am. I have found that having several strips of wide electrical tape that overlap is a cheaper option and it can be reused over the bed if you make a big section. (ft by ft) I also use it to clean horse blankets etc so you can imagine how hair efficient it is.

I found with paper/documents, what helps is scanning the items that don't really need to be an original document and then creating folders saved in your computer and keep like items with like items...such as a folder for Taxes, House Items, Bills that you want to keep to prove you paid them. That really helps to get rid of a lot of unnecessary paperwork. The pure cuteness of Freya helping with the pillow. She'd easily sell sand to the Arabs, the cuteness of her.

We did our paper clutter last year! My husband had paystubs and bank statements from the 80’s!! We went to his hunting club and burned it all! Took us a few hours....lol

Hi! I live in Central Florida. That would have been really cool if you could have bought the My Girl house. I remember the house from the movie and I just love it. I had a dream like that!! But I woke up crying... and mad! My dream was that my husband had an affair! UGH!! SO horrifying! That dream was 25 or 30 years ago. I usually manage our paperwork, but I will not touch my husband’s military paperwork. He had almost a full drawer on our deep filing cabinet filled with his paperwork before he finally went through it a couple weeks ago in preparation for his deployment (it would probably still be in there if not for this deployment). Such a good feeling to see so much space in the filing cabinet now.

I can relate to the salt, dirt and what I call "hoofie prints" from my dog. If she goes out 4 times a day, I'm mopping the floor 4 times a day. I feel badly for her because where we live they use way too much salt on the sidewalks and it's really hard on her feet (she won't wear boots).

For the record, the house from My Girl is a Victorian style house. It just wasn't built during the Victorian era. It was built during the Edwardian era. Though I am not sure the US was using British era names by then since it wasn't under the monarchy anymore.

I have been sorting boxes from our move 2 years ago…ugh! Apparently I don’t need anything in them, lol! Having the hardest time finding some place that takes donations. Our local Goodwill has limited hours & amounts that can be donated. It’s frustrating, I hate to take good “stuff” to the dump but it may be the only way. Enjoyed the video, take care! 😉

Sounds like how I was with my mother! The one place I was not at all helpful was with yard work. I despised it - still do. My contribution was to go out with my radio and chat with her and keep her company while she worked. Looking back, I’m amazed she never handed me a rake or whatever and told me to get busy. I suppose it’s because I was helpful and willing to help inside and she knew how much I hated outside work, but at least I wasn’t hiding!

What stick vacuum is that? We have a newfoundland and a Shepard mix and the hair is ALWAYS getting wrapped in the vacuum brush. I also need something that is easy to clean the couch…which I see you do effortlessly…and the sides of your bed. I need that vacuum!! Lol

You will never have to worry about salt issues in Florida. You will definitely enjoy the weather a lot more, too. You're right about finding the right house...everything will fall into place as it should and you will find exactly the right place for you and your family. I know you have everything well organized but I'd live to see some videos on organization and how you will get ready and pack up for the upcoming move. Love, love, love, your videos. I started watching you about a year ago in the hoarding series which I found fascinating. Since watching you, I have become more motivated! Cleaning cauliflower, I pulled kitchen garbage can from it's bin, moved next to sink and lo and behold, I noticed the outside of container needed washing! I think the house hunting is more of a problem than the selling. We are also moving and put in so many offers but there were/are soooo many people with all cash offers and willing to pay 50-80k over asking so their bids won. I refuse to overpay for a house. So we ended up going with a new build and having to wait 8 months to move
