That's why sometimes I do not trust so much in some reviewers. Most of them said that Fiio FD5 was a "meh" IEM, but I liked them.

@@josevictor1702ts called education. If you eat only Mcdonalds, that is your only metric of quality. If someone that eats at a varied array of restaurant prices would tell you Mcdonalds is poor. You wont like them, but your dislike is based on not having an appropriate reference. Thats the difference.

Their followers obviously bandwagon and regurgitate the same info not taking into consideration that it all depends on what type of music you enjoy. Atleast zeos has his own opinion.

Thinking of getting them. But... The thing about FiiO I hate is the quality of their cables. I owned 4 of them already in 2 years. All of them have the exact same problem, getting stiff and the right channel "breaks" at the plug after ~6 months...

Got it. Hated the quality of the drivers. Bass sounds not clean. All nozzles sounded bad.the green filter has nothing inside. So I use that to place a sponge nedium density and placed inside to change the tuning and the distortion . Problem fixed. The drivers started to sound great. And the other noozle filters they have paper dumper filter that muffled the sound. So the sponge filter fixed all issues. Happy for that.

I own the FD7. They are phenominal. They are tip dependent and sound drastically different based on the tip. Just be warned. But for the nozzle I like the stock nozzle. I tried changing them out and only wanted the stock.

I don’t have the Campfire, but I do own the Ikko OH5, and I LOVE THEM!! It is the most natural sounding IEM I own. Let me put it this way, I played in a 50 piece concert band and my Ikko sounds just as if I am in rehearsal. That’s how big and natural they sound.

Another good review however, I've said this before. Most of us don't have all the 'equipment' to try that you have. Most have their phone or perhaps a dongle or two. I would have liked to hear your comment when pushed by a phone, etc. TU.

I mean MOST phones don't even have a 3.5 out. So minimum would be a DAP or a solid Dongle. Which means 90% as good as desktop stuff.

All other reviews for this iem have been lukewarm at best. You get a few of these types of reviews up front and you just fade away….. I think that the rush to be “first” is a big part of the problem. That and the refusal to or the non belief in burn-in is an issue IMHO. I know of at least 2 well known reviewers who summarily dismissed the IKKO Asgard OH5 without any formal review. One did it on camera after a less than two minute listen straight out of the box!😮 Once you’ve done something like that, you’ve pretty much lost me!

@@vikingn1nja01 I do not. I did ask my local dealer about them and his opinion was “Meh”. I do know that Zeos usually runs everything in before he reviews. Does that make a difference with these? I can’t say for sure. I have iem’s that have sounded great out of the box, others who’ve needed 20 to 60+ hours and others that needed a couple of hundred ours. No one answer…..

Try listening to "truth hurts" by Lizzo on bass head gear like these. How can they handle it? The only headphones I've found that do that song correctly are the skullcandy crusher evo's with the bass slider at MAX. Not kidding. That song was made for filthy, concussion-inducing amounts of bass, and I laugh every time I play it on the crushers.
