The cool thing about this is with the 8 monitor mixes you can have 8 different mixes and each individual can control their own mix on their phone. Crazy how technology has advanced so much in sound.

First of all… GREAT VIDEO AND CONTENT! I do wonder why you would need the extra “splitters” if you have 8 aux outs? I get the split snake…. One to your mixer one to FOH… did you just need more inputs? I’m setting this up for the exact reason you did… complete control for our own monitor mixes… thanks again for your insight

Hey - great video. I'm wondering if you ever came up with a solution for leaving the XLR male wires in the SC inputs with the case on - tight fit. Did you switch cases to something with more depth with the doors on (if so, what?) or did you switch to 90-degree adjustable position adapters? Just some ideas I have but wondering what you ended up doing, if anything - thanks!!!

No I’m still using it as is and I’m just careful to never put the case facedown when loading it. So far none of my cables have failed “knock on wood” but yes definitely have seen better solutions as you mentioned on the forums!

I run the Soundcraft UI24 and have done 17 shows this year so far. I will never go back to a regular board.

Not sure how the berringer works, but if each iem pack is routed 2 channels each on the ui24 (for stereo), each musician can control their own mix via the ui24 web interface via wi-fi on a phone or tablet with a web browser. but yes! cool setup. AND you can now daisy chain (they call it waterfall) 2 ui24s together and have one for iems and use the other as a general wireless mixer.

So do you just plug in your vox, gtrs etc into a splitter and one snake goes to foh and the other to the Soundcraft? Also, you mentioned the grounding if the mic is wired. Can you explain that more? I can't plug a wired mic into this thing? Thank you!

The splits have ground lifts and they can sum 2 inputs. You gotta becareful not to push the sum inputs thing!

Each aux is a mono feed? Do they have a way to create a stereo feed?

Great review and information, thank you. I'd love and appreciate exactly the models of what you put together, i.e. the splitter, etc. Thank you.

I run my ui24 in a rolling rack case that has a angled top designed for a regular mixer so the ui24 is vertical far easier

Wondering what case you have - I was looking at that solution as well but haven't found a case I like with the angle/vertical option. If you know the model I'd appropriate it. Thanks.

Any solution on the cramping of the flightcase cover? Maybe 90° xlr's could be a solution?

I've got a very similar set and wound up using right angle XLR conx as seen here - www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0741HHZXW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
