It’s a straight up bootleg of the justice gundam and the strike gundam mashed in one. It doesn’t make it any less badass, but it is a copy of the two put together
it was a privilege to build this kit (words i never thought i would say). i see it as a terrible travesty that theres so many people buying gunpla that will never move past shitty high grades from bandai. bandai has a LOT to learn, even just the manual for this kit shits all over anything bandai has ever put out. these in era kits stand toe to toe with mgex kits from bandia. they are THAT fucking good!
That's an irrationally assumptive and narrow perspective; "People buying Gunpla that will never move past shitty HG from Bandai", HG is an established line, people who are fans of the entirety of the Gundam franchise, not just model kits, buy it for that reason too because each mobile suit has their own lore and background. Also not everyone only does straight builds, HGs are the best line to kitbash and customise due to the plethora of immensely diverse kits available + expansion packs/sets, it also helps that their scale is in 1:144, quicker to scribe, modify, add pla-plates, airbrush, mask and even be displayed in dioramas. And just to add that up; not all people want a collection only composed of V-fins and the typical humanoid silhouette in different iterations and protruding backpacks, others want Kshatriya, Nightingale, Messer, TR-6 Hazel II and such, "variety". Last year's GBWC (Gundam Build World Cup) the winning entries in the Philippines, from two categories mainly used HG's. I like In Era and Motor Nuclear for custom paint or for straight build, then display. But when it comes to more thorough customisation and modifications, HG is the way to go because other people are actually creative, they don't just fall for consumerism and the sake of collecting. As much as I'm a fan of In Era, Motor Nuclear, even the MJZ Studios and ZZA, I wouldn't imprudently take a hit on the HG line because I rather have a pragmatic comprehension on plamos/gunplas.

It doesn't even share the same design language and aesthetic. So you literally have two options, either go with animalistic mecha or Gundam inspired, silly, you really got a narrow perspective, you could've just stated some Moderoid, Kotobukiya or other plamo kits, but, nah, you just said Zoids 🤣 It doesn't belong in the same sphere, you keep proving how ignorant you are. You can't recreate Qubeley and Kshatriya's 'wings' or the torso of Gusion or Z'Gok's arms or Pharact's whole backpack with pure pla-plates, are you gonna scratch build them with those evident curves and tectonic flows, then add scribed and molded details, just think of the integral structure of it in 1:100 scale, heck, you can't even scratch build Schwarzette's face/head without trouble. This proves how awfully benighted you are, pla-plates are commonly used to add details, to stack layers on the surface and change the mold/form of a piece, you need a particular basis for foundation for it, whilst you can scratch build some parts, there are limitations, that's why it's needed to use other parts with certain shapes and layouts from definitive or unconventional design mobile suits and expansions packs/sets are also availabe like HG Build Custom, Builder Parts HD, Kotobukiya's MSG, ANUBIS Studios, Wave, Madworkz, 30MM, Dalin, EW, RCW and many more that are compatible to HG, there are even shops that 3D prints resin parts for 1:144 scale. But what do you know anyway, lmao. You're too opinionated for someone who's only outside-looking-in. Backpack adapter? I buy non-Bandai kits like Zero Gravity, In Era, Motor Nuclear mostly for straight builds and display, also because a lot of Bandai MGs are dated; molding and engineering wise, that's why I already prefer non-Bandai kits like In Era or Motor Nuclear, I would buy their Full Mechanics line if there's a character/kit that I like but there isn't. Simple as that, very simple as that. If you wanna have a collection of 1:100 scale, all fully customised, that's more farfetched and expensive, unless you do commission work for gunpla/plamo customisation on the sidelines. It's an obvious clearcut, it's about preference and what they want to do in the field of hobby, no need for deekriding point-A, then deeming down point-B, just broaden your perception, a lot of matters actually have reasons.
@@theflawedkid if theres one thing i lack its NOT creativity. for quebly arms i would probably just use my 3d printer.. though i dont generally find a reason to make my kits look profoundly stupid so actually doing it has infact never crossed my mind. i could probably sculpt and sand pretty close to it but again, why bother making something stupid looking? i do see the third party add-on kits sometimes, but they are never really impressive to me. you seemed to be the one thinking swapping MG parts was "difficult", so naturally i assumed you were unaware of the adapters. the thing is youre acting as if the majority of hg kits end up in gbwc builds, they dont. they end up in the hands of little kids. you are right about bandais mg kits (they are pretty shit lately), but frankly i dont see how anyone can feel as accomplished completing a hg (custom or not) as they would completing a mg which gives you more realestate FOR details. again to cars.. theres not a chance youll feel as accomplished building a go kart as you would an actual car. there IS a difference in magnitudes.
Solid video. But there's a difference between Bootleg and Third Party products. This is the company's own original design. Not a ripoff or independent release of an existing model. Something like the Daban models are an example of bootlegs.
@@azuzu9813 Its better to call them Plamo IMO. they're not really third party gundam kits and they're also not bootlegs. They're doing their own thing, gundam design inspired or not, and should be put in the plastic model kit category : )
