Had he been the PM Congress wouldn't withdraw the support.Neither Devegowda nor I K Gujral was Congress choice so why they will accept the imposed PM.Since they were the single largest party their opinion should hv been honoured.They extended unflinching support only to Com Jyoti Basu on whom they had the faith.
Why in a democratic pattern of Governance,the same person would continue to hold the post of C .M of a State like West Bengal,one of the most backward states in Independent India, when it was evident that he did not do virtually anything for the development development of the ill fated state,on any sector..

Many people criticise Jyoti Basu and the policies of the cpi-m government....but in my opinion cpi-m was 200% better than TMC and BJP government which are rulling the state and the country.....
