Kaye i couldnt leave a comment on your TWA vid "the last day of TWA December 1st 2001" from 9 yrs ago as comments were turned off so APOLOGIES for leaving it here if you dont mind me doing so? ( as it only popped up in my YT recomedations today ...i have watched the full video ) and loved it! such a sad time but as it was at the time a memorable one for all the TWA staff ....(not knowing what was to come sadly 😥) I was born in 1970 in the UK and never flew TWA BUT even in the UK it was a renowed airline (as was Pan AM) in those great days of airline travel ......looking at the vid you could tell you were all family xxxx I miss those days , now if i wanted to fly to the usa it would have to be on American, united or if they still fly from the uk continetal if i chose an american airline ..yes we have Virgin and BA etc in the uk but for some reason (cant put my finger exactly on why * well i can lol the classic airline staff from those now sadly depated airlnes seemed to be more fun and interactive ....these days its more like the cabin crew on all airlines just carry out what they have to do with as little or no interaction with the passengers , no freindly chit chat etc ..its more go up the isles with the drink cart , sell the stuff from duty free and serve them meals with very little interaction ..it seems these days being cabin crew and traveling around the world is more of a perk / bonus of the job and actualy ding the job is a chore they have to do! ....JUST MY OPINION Kaye ...Flight atendants / cabin crew that actualy made you feel welcome and gave a stuff about the passengers like you and all your felllow cabin crew did is a thing of the past sadly .....i miss those days even on UK charter flights to holiday destinations! ..the personal touch you all gave and got to know the regular flyers meant so much to folks!
