McGee is one of the best centers in the league in his very limited minutes. With a bigger roll he will show how good he is at protecting the rim. He’s had seasons where he was top 3 in blocks per game when he gets around 30 minutes. Even when teams barely played him he was still one of the best at blocking shots.

Delonte West Every team he was on when he got minutes he was actually a good defensive player. Especially when it comes to blocking shots. Javale will get more minutes. I think you will be surprised. Lebron made Tristan look good when he was still good and Javale is basically a bigger more athletic Tristan Thompson. Tristan fell off and that had nothing to do with Lebron. Love was good until thomas came in and then love got injured and struggled in the playoffs. If you look at the numbers basically every player shot better from three off a pass from Lebron. You idiots have no idea what you are talking about. Lebron elevates his teammates as long as they put in the effort. It’s a two way street.

Tremendous athlete at center position. Great dude, locker room guy. Can block shots with the best of em and can obviously catch lobs from all the play makers we have. Great fit. If we need a stretch 5, we can use Moe Wagner. So, lots of versatility to our roster. PLus, if McGee can win the starting job, he will be really hungry to impress since he's mostly been a bench guy.
