The first 48 hours of a missing person case are the most crucial to be able to find them again, can you imagine if police genuinely said that you couldn’t report someone missing for 48 hours? Hollywood affects far too many authors thoughts on the real world. Beautiful narration, possibly worth the occasional PSA that you can report someone missing as soon as you have reason to believe they’re missing, not 48 hours later

It's actually so common that police officers have been known to tell people trying to report missing persons that they must wait. Usually when the missing person is an adult. There are many real cases of adults dying, usually from heat/cold, because their family was told they couldn't report it yet.

The author probably won't see it, but in case they read the comments - it's an urban myth that the police have to wait a set number of hours/days before they can look for a missing kid. Honestly stuff like this doesn't take long to research, and getting it wrong ruins the suspension of disbelief even in a well written story (and i really liked this one.)

Finally an actual SCARY story, something that actually is somewhat terrifying. In the last couple of years these "scary" stories have become oversaturated with mediocre writing and stories that shouldn't even count as horror, glad to finally see something good again.

Try the disciple doesnt up load super often but ive just subbed really good really gory really brutal . Gods of the apocalypse is worth watching and quilted sky and files of c.r.a.n hes got couple of unique one off stories on there too . worth checking out . Belive me i love hard core horror and agree with you alot of whats out isnt scary at all ( the worst is the shorts and thoes dumb polls dr creepen is worst for that as his are particularly lameand unscary ) still check out the disciple.

The clusters is a good lil 3 part mini series by the disciple also . Not loads and loads on this ch but ive found it a refreshing lil break from the repetitive cycle that cp seems to get stuck in at times . Im subbed to 16 ch and struggle to find stories i really enjoy . Or atleast leave some kind of impact , the only ones so far ive really found disturbing in order are 3rd pearent, feed the pig , i am nightmare, left right game , forest of 1000 legs all by dark somnium

A ghost or monster, or something. Important thing was that the place was partly in reality, and partly outside of reality, a liminal space. Through that foothold, I think the thing was able to reach through further liminal spaces, in this case, his dream of it.

Really wish there was text of this, it's so confusing at the end and reading it would probably help me actually understand the ending. I had to get a transcription of this video via a website to actually comprehend the setting for the dream sequence. Author, if you're listening, the environment in the dream is very hard to understand. You jump from action to action and the delineation of occurrences is extremely obfuscated. I cannot tell where the narrator is, you describe a forest at first but then you mention windows and a "knole" (which is a "mansion" of sorts), and then suddenly the ghost Amy is going up a hill to the home? So we're in a forest, but we also aren't? You describe a ghost that arises out of a knothole in a tree, but then it "goes out the door"? Bro what. Where is the door? Where is the tree? Where is the house? Please take more care when you develop your settings in the future. You went too psychedelic with this and it took me literally 30min to finish the last 8min of this story. And then afterwards, you say "the police came but only because his voice had given out." What does that mean? How could the police hear him if his voice was given out? If his neighbour called the cops, why would they do it ONLY when it was silent? That line literally makes no sense. This could have been so good. But the ending is like someone just pulled the story from out under your feet. No resolution, no connection, just some weird dream and then suddenly the house is an urban myth? Christ.

Alright, so Amir only stopped screaming because his throat gave out. I admit I flubbed a word and could've clarified more in certain spots, namely when Abby is looking at Amir and not seeing the ghost coming through the knothole in the wall of the house. The place Amir is in is sort of the place where dreams and reality are coming together, the closer he gets, the more real it becomes.

I say this not to be mean but 2 30 Second unskippable adds and a raid add to start of with. Then 3 mid rolls. This has become unwatchable in am no longer a fan because this is insane
