I watched In Living Color growing up in the 90s and I can tell you all that these all are pure genius personality people you are watching. Jim Carey is phenomenal, tommy Davidson is legendary, all the Wayans are super and highly intelligent legend's. Jamie Foxx, Carrie and all the rest of the crew is just phenomenal. ❤ This show was a hit 🎯 and I'll watch it any day I can. ❤
These clothes are so 1990s. Remember the florescent phase of the 90s, hypercolor shirts and bold print? The 90s was such a kick, it was a supersonic version of the 80s, I don't miss the fashion but I do miss the time, it seemed as bright as the fashion and now look where we are, disappointing to say the least.
Thats between 90 & 93....MAAAYBE, '94... when bone came on the scene in '94, 'nirvana', the movie "higher learning," and "a low down dirty shame," it mellowed the bright color scheme down to more earth like tones & colors...
@@ghaffar23 He was such an angry sexually confused man and race baiter but this show was pure gold. It is everything that Key & Peele are not and could never be.
It had political correctness issues back in the 1990s, too. It's just that back then, the Internet wasn't that widespread. Yeah, there were people complaining online, but they used forums, not social media.
Maaaaaan my whole complex would shutdown when In Living Color was on. Next day we’d all be dying laughing about the skits. This, Chappelles show n now, yes Key n Peele are the only skit shows that keep me tuned in cus pure talent. Nobody can do what they did in the early 90’s tho. Shit was unfiltered n raw. You’ll never see that again.
Snl is beyond woke and runs with the woke agenda….its def not what it used to be like it was back in the early 80’s with the church lady….toonces the cat …etc etc
OMG grew up on this!!! This takes me back to the nights when everyday was home and watching In Living Color!!! The Simpsons was the new thing. LOVE THIS!!! ❤❤🎭 ❤❤❤
This was Sunday night television, Fox had Martin, living single, and In living color. This was the 1st show with a unapologetic, and undeniable hip hop influence.
65 years old and Damm those fly girls and the cast of characters, yet to be duplicated! Fortunately, the writing and talent forever burned in my memory. Much love ❤
Hell yea they would get canceled & it's so sad cuz In Living Color was such an innovative classic! People are really too sensitive nowadays. This isn't a documentary, it's a freaking comedy show😂.
I don't understand WHY? WITH ALL THE RIDICULOUS SH*T we see AND WITNESS IN THE MEDIA NOWADAYS!!!! THIS PROGRAMING is only OFFENSIVE, to those WHO DONT LIKE TO LAUGH. It wouldn't be NO J-LO, if she didn't dance on this SHOW. J-LO MARKETED HERSELF "SO WELL" AT the beginning of the 2000's, she HAD TO STOP HERE FIRST, to get to where she was and is.
He dropped her 😂 he couldn't wait to do that this is 80s/90s nostalgic mood when Jim Carey plays a character he would really get into he'll make u believe in that character ❤😂😮
WOW, their theme song was a whole message. "It's never too late or never too soon". Realizing you can walk the streets at night. 😊 *at least some parts of course.
Me and my friend will still recite the lines. This was one of the best shows back in the day. It would never last today with the sissy people out there.
I was in elementary school, kindergarten through fifth grade (1990-1994), during In Living Color's original run. Me and my older brother sitting in front of the TV laughing, imitating the characters on the show, and just acting a fool. And there sitting behind us watching the show and her two young sons acting a fool was mom. All three of us bonded over In Living Color, New York Undercover, TGIF, Showtime at the Apollo, and other shows in the 1990s. Great times. That's the stuff you don't forget when you get old and gray. When I get in my 60, 70s, and 80s, I'll be able to recall the days when I was watching In Living Color, listening to 1980s and 1990s R&B and rap music, and watching Hangin' with Mr. Cooper among other shows.
I've been a chef for 32 years. It amazes me how this generation looks at me like I'm crazy. When I say onion rings pick them up😂😂😂😂 It lives in my brain rent free 24/7😂😂
People didn’t have to pay to see this show on television like you do today to see a popular show on Netflix or Hulu. Back then, all you needed was a television and an antenna if you didn’t have cable because Fox was over the air for FREE!
I remember when this show came on. You couldn't get anything done. Everybody in the neighborhood or in the house watched this show. When David said “I can make a booger talk”, that was a funny line back then and it's hilarious now.
8:09 fun fact: this is based on a real commercial, that can be found on RU-vid by searching Grecian Formula Commercial 1983. My great-uncle was in the commercial, trying it....
