My first Richard Mr. Clean White experience was on the Album with the cut It’s Almost Midnight. Then hit after hit he became a favorite!!! There will never be another of his caliber!! Rest in Jesus Bishop Mr. Clean!! Your legacy lives til eternity!!
❤❤ty for sharing these memories. I saw him at GMWA my in St. Louis where he recorded God is not through. He was anointed could drive a song & sermons and close a sermon. Truly a GIFT from on high. He will SORELY BE MISSED! Forever in our hearts. I'm in Dallas TX.
He certainly was a one of a kind, generous and fair to all. I witnessed firsthand even giving me opportunity taking me away from playing for the Pace Sisters and living with Gloria and the family in New Orleans. I was like his son and church musician living with them for nearly two years. My last call with him his words "yeah, you're still a son..." He truly will be missed and never forgotten.
Good night to my friend of almost fifty years. He preached many times for us at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church of New Orleans, La. We will see him in the morning. Condolences to the White Family from the Fellowship Church Rev. Moses S. Gordon,ll , Pastor
