Great way to celebrate such a legend. Growing up in Newcastle is filled with so many great memories. One of my fondest memories is drinking beers with a mate at the family hotel across the road from the Palais in Newy before the jets show. Only to have Paul and Dave wonder in at 4pm and have a few cold ones. Did need to pester them as just drinking beers in the same small pub as the boys on gig day was epic. Fucking legends. My young adult life would not be the same without you.
Many a time at the mary ellen, or other spots around newy seeing you guys, thank you for sharing memorial. - a proud Novacastrian now living in France (we did get Airbourne recently though :))
If I’ve seen the Screaming Jets once, it would have to be at least 100 times over the past 30 odd years. Aside from a very brief chat with Paul in a car park before a gig, I can’t say I ever met him. However, Paul the band as a whole are a massive part of my life and Paul’s passing feels like the loss of a family member. This is a beautiful tribute to a remarkable musician and human being. Rest in peace Paul, and thank you for sharing your talents with the world.
This was beautiful. I can't believe a funeral service could have kicked off so funny, the humour had me in stitches. That seems exactly the kind of guy Paul was, funny and in the moment. Just remarkable that this guys songs have been a big part of my DNA. Thanks Jets.
Always loved his vocals and way he rocked out on stage I recognised him in a packed crowd at soundwave waiting for sound garden . He walked up right up to me , I went Paul woosen screaming jets ! And he looked at me had a little chuckle and went , good onya mate . RIP legend !!
I seen you guys in 2006 at a pub that didn't advertise it well. Would have only been 70 odd people, and you guys played like it was the MCG full. Man, that was a night. 🙌❤️
Definitely hard to watch 😭 Thank you to Paul’s family & The Jets for sharing with us, that was a Beautiful loving tribute to Paully! Shine On & Rock On Paully 🌟🤘🏽🎶🎸🧢 🥃
Totally shocked at Paul's passing. Massive fan of The Screaming Jets. Love and respect from UK. I had the pleasure of seeing them at Portsmouth Guildhall supporting Thunder. I only went to see the Jets. Great memories. RIP PW
Huge thank you to all the people involved bringing this to us Longtime fans of this Man and this Band, my thoughts go out to his Family at this difficult time may his Musicianship live on Forever in our hearts Pauly Machine Woseen 🙏
Tomas from Sweden here. I saw The Jets in Sweden 1993, with Quireboys. I did not know of the band then. I was totally shocked how good they where. I dont remmeber Quireboys at all from that gig. Tear of thought is just as good as Back in Black Number of the beast or Blizzard of Oz. Pauls backning vocals made the band stand out❤ God bless you Paul.
What a wonderful tribute to an amazing man. Condolences to all who knew and loved Pauly. Scotty please put the acoustic pieces and the video tribute up as stand-alones. Absolutely fantastic ❤

I randomly walked into a pub in anandale in Sydney the 1994 and accidentally met Paul standing in the crowd and he took the time to have a small chat with me, I was so excited to have met the base player of my favourite band, he will be missed by all in the Australian music scene

I remember supporting the Jets in the early ninetys at the Kardomah Cafe in Kings Cross in Sydney when i first met him, top bloke very down to earth, then after the gig ended up at Springfields which was originally the Manzil room and ran into him again, it was a big night and early morning so to speak lol great memories. R.I.P. Paul 🍺🎶🙏

The whole thing is so sad. it truly is... I'm not gonna lie, I think that guy that was chosen as MC, fully Bodged his job up. Why didn't Scott, Dave or Jimi MC anyway???
