@@ThinkingandTinkeringSir, sorry to interrupt but I have a question whether expanded graphite is included in the graphene category and I need nano graphene technology
To all TNT viewers; is anyone here on close enough terms to Mr. Murray-Smith to ring him up/check in on his well being? He's obviously been hit with an enormous trauma and no one should have to go through that alone. I would do it myself, but he doesn't know me from Adam's house cat. If you speak with him, please wish him well from all of us. Thanks.
Reached out via email. Hopefully hear back from him. Think it's his birthday today too. If you read this Rob, I hope you had a good a day as you could.
I'm sure he needs a little time, I know I would. Besides, he isn't just in mourning.. there are many things that need to happen after the passing of a loved one. He's likely very busy with this. I watch his videos almost daily. I, like many of us see his face all the time and in doing so are extremely found of him. The same isn't true in reverse, even if he is happy to have us, the bond simply wouldn't be the same. Right now he needs his friendly faces.
Thank you, yes, I hope the same. I was already looking to see if he has some kind of forum where he communicates with his followers but did not find any.
We miss you Robert, all I can do is hope for you as have given hope to all of us through your wonderful videos, a true contribution to humanity, I wish the best for you
I’m so sorry for your loss Robert all of my condolences to you and your family the world has lost a fantastic person she will be missed by everyone our hearts are with you
When our son, Sam, died, we stopped making videos too for a while. But eventually we had to get back to it, even though neither of us wanted to. Everything was just too sad for words - and still is, years later. But you have to live till you die, don't you?, so you may as well get on with it, and enjoy the good bits. I hope you make videos again, when you're ready, Robert. You're good at it - and we miss them. Tim
Tim, I look forward to you and Robert meeting in person. You two are on the same frequency. This is something that I’d love to witness happen and when it does just let me know and I’ll be there off camera for my own fulfilment to get you two some steak and refreshments.
Thank you, Robert, for sharing the love of your life with us and the courage to make Patti’s passing known so that we can pray for you and her surviving spirit. May the many memories you created together give you comfort in the days to come. You and your family have my sincere sympathy.
I knew before even watching the video, "That was a Great Woman." No question. I am terribly sorry for your loss. As said below we all here for you... God Speed and His Blessings.
@@ThinkingandTinkeringI'm so sorry for your loss.. but thank you for sharing and showing some glimpse, of what the person was and meant to you.. greaf and loss is very individual, so might be different for you.. but think it makes sense.. when people die, it's almost like they take away a piece from us, and when that's missing, it's hard to put into words what that is..
Watched every minute to be sure to honor her. Regards from across the pond, you've contributed to my life and I'm certain she was a big part of that. So, thank you very deeply, Patti.
There are no words we can share that truly express our grief. Robert, I'm thankful you and Patti shared each others love on earth and I believe she loves you even more from heaven. While Patti misses you, she is not ready for you to join her. Patti's love surrounds you always. Our prayers are with Patti, you, and your family.
Rob im so sorry for your loss. You and your team have been a great source of education and inspiration for me over the past number of years. Thank you so much. An Irish saying: Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
I've a few that'll make you laugh ? 😂😅😂 We need joy in this time not stuck on repeat n moaping about also if you want to hear my Irish sayings let me know 🤣😂😅
Rob, you have the same name as my dad, and for the last few years, I have looked up to you like a dad, even though you don't know me. I am a 25 year old woman from Alberta, Canada, and my mom went missing 6 years ago. I know it is not the same, but please know that you are so appreciated and Patti is so loved by you and anyone who cares about you. I am so sorry for this situation, and I know it can't be easy right now. But the thing I try to remember, is that we have to keep living and experiencing life FOR the people we lose. There are too many beautiful sunsets and rises that we need to witness for them. Remember your channels main goal of empowerment, and how you and Patti both have empowered SO many people to do things themselves and keep learning and experimenting and becoming self-sufficient. What you have built is beautiful! Nobody expects you to bounce right back, we all need time and patience. If there is anything that I can help with, please let me know. I am proficient in computers and would be happy to volunteer my time and skills to help with anything you might need, wishing the absolute best for you and your family today.
May God Rest her soul, for a gentleman who is so cheerful and dedicated to sharing and educating the world on just about every facet of practical engineering I can only imagine how great of an impact she had on you to always provide such joy to me and everyone else watching in our learning together (it truly is infectious). God bless you Robert and God Bless Patty.
My heart goes out to you. I have always loved to watch your videos because of your infectious laugh. Now it is time for you to turn to others to help you through.
My sincerest condolences to you and your family, Mr. Robert. Please take care of yourself, take all the necessary time off to heal. I am certain she was the reason for your big smiles. Please keep them. Loris
From across the Atlantic near Memphis TN, please know that those that you entertain and teach each day share your sorrow. There are not real words to comfort you during such a loss. Hopefully, when your sorrow slowly passes it will be replaced with thankfulness that she was in your life. May she rest in peace and may you find happiness again.
O god Rob I'm so very sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting yourself and Patti a few years ago. She seemed like like such a warm caring person. You both were so lovely together. Truly heart breaking news. You both helped me tremendously in learning about energy storage and batteries. This channel changed my life. Thank you both and to Patti.

Thank you for including us in your time of loss and sorrow. Your laughter is contagious and we are sure it is at least in part due to your loving family. You will be in our prayers during this difficult time. Thank you for all that you do.
I just discovered this and wish to offer you my sympathy for your loss. Your videos have been a source of fun for me in my retirement. You have been a real joy that restores that childhood excitement in science from long ago. I pray you heal and return to that joyfulness that is so much a part of your nature. May God bless and keep you.
My condolences to you and your family! Both of your contributions to spreading knowledge to those willing to tske the time dosnt go un-noticed. Rest in peace❤
As a fellow teacher know that her passion and energy lives on in her students, and as a tinkerer consider that energy can never be destroyed only transformed. My deepest condolences.
Great woman, with great husband. Thank goodness that you two were born. Sorry for not having you both around a bit longer, because your lives matter more than many others. You two will live in our memories forever.
I wish that I could give you a hug. The loss of one's spouse and a wonderful lady at that is a hard blow. May the joy you shared during life, help deal with the sorrow of her absence.
I feel your pain Robert. I to have lost my loved ones. Hope you find peace and love in the goodness of the LORD. Am still brittle with feelings of so many unknowns. Peace to you my British friend who I meet on RU-vid on the other side of the pond. v
My deepest sympathy Robert, Patti and yourself brought joy to thousands of geeks around the world. Patti was obviously a wonderful person and great teacher. Thank you for sharing her with us all. My prayers go out to you and you family at such a sad time... May the Lord keep you and make his face to shine upon you ❤Xxxxxxxx
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss Robert. Only a rare few people ever get to find such a partner that shares your same passion for science and education. We were all blessed by her and you together. Many condolences and prayers for you and your family during your time of grief. 💕
I can't even imagine how it must feel, really sorry for your loss, she seemed an awesome human. We love you Robert, take your time, respect your process.
My deepest and dearest condolences Rob, you’re an inspiration to me and the world. A rare soul and a grace to have been blessed to take part in all your years of giving and teaching. May she rest in peace and joy ❤
Thank you for sharing this video together with the news of Patti's passing. The yin-yang of joy and sorrow does not blend to make gray, but invites us to simultaneously hold them both in our mind and heart to create comfort rather than contradiction or dissonance. While the future will create no new memories of Patti, all of the past memories still exist. This post emphasizes that dichotomy, the middle way being to bring all the past memories into the future with us, to perhaps help balance her loss. Thanks for illustrating this so clearly, for letting us share a sliver of your joy and loss.
Dear Rob, tears are in my eyes as I watch this video. I had a serious health issue last year and have been away from RU-vid so I only just found out about your loss. As someone who has watched and appreciated your channel for years I wish you all the best. Regards Grant
@ThinkingandTinkering Unfortunately, I have been in that position, so commiserating with your loss brings back those feelings of my own experiences. I truly feel for you 💔.
