Brilliant piece. I hope his grandson sees it. You didn't even mention the Fallout 4 mods. He was a prolific modder and they were great mods that worked well. Your tribute does him well.

Thank you for doing this for my dad, my nephew has just shown us this. It is so amazing to see his work being appreciated and the lovely comments from people. He loved gaming and modding, he was always showing off his work to everyone. I know he would have loved this, so thank you again, it really means a lot to us ❤

Coming back to do some modding after a long absence and so very sorry to hear this news. I love how he gave these tiny details so much attention; I imagined someone toiling away to improve things that most people wouldn't have noticed much less bothered to invest time on fixing, and I thought that was just so endearing. I would have something like 400 different visual mods many of which I forgot I even installed, but I'd see a new Ramccoid mod and immediately download it then get in game to check it out, then 'Ooo' and 'Aaah' at how oily the oil looked, or how the dandelion puffs somehow seemed to float and drift more naturally, or how those ripples fixed something that had always bugged me that I couldn't quite put my finger on... Modders may understand the slight obsessiveness over details like that but most people I encounter in my day-to-day really do not. So I think for me part of the reason his mods always made me smile was that sense that someone else gets it, a small connection with someone I've never met, like stopping to admire an intricate but insignificant spider's web when walking down a busy, chaotic city sidewalk and realizing someone else in the crowd noticed it too, and stopped...if you notice each other noticing maybe you share a grin and a nod, then they're gone.

Oh my God I had no idea the amazing Little Things mod was made by an elderly fellow. I loved that mod. It went bravely where no mod has gone before. Rest in peace.

Thank you for posting this video tribute. I had never heard of these mods before and I have just started looking at atmosphere building or accenting mods. Hopefully these make it to se and I can add them in. Also thank you for posting about the man himself. You are right when you say that mod makers offer the work freely and they need to be more appreciated and less bitched at. Thanks to all the content creators that work hard to keep Skyrim the legend it is.
