Philippians 4: 6-8 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving , present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--- think about such things." Some years ago, I purchased a book written by a wonderful Christian who later became a favorite author-- M. Lucado. : "Anxious for Nothing ". Everyone has seasons of uncertainty, anxiety, or conflict, but we don't have to give up our Joy in Christ Jesus. Anxiety is not a sin; it is an emotion; so don't be anxious about feeling anxious. Allow the anxiety, but take it to the Lord. This I have learned. I take everything to the Lord in prayer. Just today I had burdens that I had to deal with. God is my answer! Thank you, Lord Jesus.
