In rehearsal with choreographer Crystal Pite 

My deepest wish is to be able to work with her one day. She is such an inspiring person and so genuine and complex it’s amazing.

J'ai adoré Body and Soul et son dernier acte tellement stupéfiant. Une inventivité qui donne envie de suivre cette chorégraphe, Crystal Pite, surtout quand c'est dansé par une troupe aussi parfaite que l'Opéra de Paris.

I saw it only streaming but it was already mind-blowing! I can't even imagine how it would have been experiencing it live! The advantage of the streaming link though is that I watched it 2 nights in a row ;) I'm a huge fan of Crystal's work. I don't think I've ever been disappointed by any of her work, even if I have my preferences. The first dance show I saw when I arrived in Canada 10 years ago was the National Ballet of Canada performing in Vancouver, and one of the pieces was Emergence from Crystal. She blew me away that very first time and never stopped since then. In the last few years, Bettrofenheit, Revisor or Body and Soul were some of the best shows I've seen in my life.

I've seen several Crystal Pite shows over the years. She's a genius of contemporary dance choreography. Leaves her peers far behind. This show must have been a huge upgrade over the garbage that normally litters the stages of Paris.

I saw this at the Palais Garnier on their second show, it was the most gorgeous dance piece I have ever seen, very different from other modern dance companies. I will now look for Crystal Pite for any future dance shows, it was beyond amazing in a way that words cannot even describe it.

Bravo pour les nouvelles créations de Ballet de l'opéra de Paris, au niveau de la danse. Ces expressions du corps sont puissantes, et renouvellent un Art qui doit être le reflet de celui-ci dans la vie quotidienne ou autre. J'aime cette richesse des mouvements.
