I hit the Juniata River in my Old Town PDL106 kayak once again. The wind was blowing as heavy thunderstorms were approaching the area. I managed to catch a few bass before the storms hit. I had to learn a harsh lesson about tying knots with braded line. A lesson well learned.

Have I told you lately how envious I am of you? I wish I lived around water like that. Also, I don’t know how you manage to go out with one rod and reel and fish the whole day. Lol if I only took one with me, I would be backto the truck in 10 minutes on the way home. Lol great day fishing even with the rain.

I always have at least 2 rods when I go out. Generally, I'll only fish with one of them. I'm blessed with a bunch of different fishing options. The kayak just opened up a bunch more.

Another good video, at least you were catching some. When I go to there I have good luck with crankbaits in that area you cought the bigger one

Thanks! I try to show the "not so good" trips as well as the good ones. I try to keep it real. My issue is I get tunnel vision with the hellgramites.

That's the crazy thing about smallies. They can be literally anywhere in the river. You did better than me with that musky...space and time would've ceased to exist until i boated that fish.
