Knowing cops like I do, I guarantee you that this Nice Cop is hated at his station because he will regarded by his supervisors and other thugs around him as being a weak and ineffectual cop that is too soft with potential criminals (aka The Public). Meanwhile in The Real World, The Public like their Police to be like this - polite, educated and willing to learn and change their opinion if they are shown to be incorrect. For any Plod Thugs reading these comments, it's called "humility with intelligence", something that you have probably never heard of.
@@colinpryor4290 I reckon the corrupt thug coppers egged him on to go and investigate while they ordered a Greggs. He did a professional job and makes the thug coppers look like uneducated thickos.
@@colinpryor4290 Colleagues seeing him on you tube probably makes that hatred worse. At least he can read all the positive comments and hold his head high. Your interactions with both this cop and the pcso demonstrate such poor training standards. It seems they are meant to start off with misinformation then resort to lies. There is no commitment to the law. They are set up to fail from day one and the hierarchy hope the public do not notice.
The young officer was outstanding!.....How refreshing to see a polite, receptive and honest policeman who was happy to be corrected and learn. Well done sir!!!
Agreed. However, and not to be contrarian of overly cynical but, the fact that encountering an officer that’s polite & respectful is so immediately pleasing for us, is solely because it’s so rare! This officer’s manner of behaviour is how we should be expect every officer to behave. When the situation demands, of course the police may need to be aggressive & intimidating. But that should always be a last resort. Too many officers treat random citizens as if they’re criminals, despite no crime being suspected..
And he asked to get educated, without attitude or being a dickhead. I will criticise when I think it's needed, more than most. He clarified the legislation and accepted it from someone who knows better and treated him with respect. We can't all be experts in everything but we can listen and learn, he knows for the future and will hopefully update others, meaning more people will be left alone to film and fly legally. RESPECT from me 👍 To the officer and PCSO. No ego, just seen like decent humans for a change
This should be used as a training video and sent to ALL the police stations in England. On how to deal with the public how to have a civil conversation and how to listen and act when you are a police officer and you could possibly be wrong.
The PCSO and the young PC (7's) were an absolute credit and such a refreshing change from the usual dour, impolite and power-hungry officers we tend to see on these audits. FP schooled them and they were actually grateful because they had humility and manners
Focus, I too respect the humility of the PCSO and the officer. It’s rare for police to listen and then admit when they may have got it wrong. But at the same time they really should know the laws they are trying to enforce.
I think it must be all but impossible for them to know all law, Gary, but I think the important thing is how they deal with a situation when it develops so they might believe they aren’t sure of the law. That’s when those that blag come off so horribly and the PCSO and PC727 in this video do so very well.
@@philliplester1741Yet we the public are expected to know all the laws. What's the saying, ignorance of the law is no defence in court. It's loaded in their favour.
Well that was a shock. Well done to both the uniformed guys for being willing to learn and being prepared to accept that they can actually be wrong. Both very civil and both apparently able to control their ego.
3:05 Fair play to the -copper- PCSO. He didn't fly off into a rage at being told he was wrong and the whole list of things he had reeled off that couldn't be done was a waste of time. He was willing to double check and actually find out. But he was still wrong initially and made out that he knew what was the law so he was like any other constable who knows nothing about the law except what's drilled into them in their very short and brief training sessions.
Give a man a vest and he'll be warm. Teach a man to wear a yellow vest and use a PCSO Designation Card and he'll talk s***e, act like an incompetent tyrant and pretend that he knows everything for the rest of his life. Please help keep another street corner usefully employed and ensure that no more tyrants with deep inner feelings of inadequacy have to sulk in the shadows. Your contribution of just £3,000 a month will mean that sad, lonely individuals will no longer have to haunt their local library to stay warm, instead they can have rich, fulfilling lives serving no purpose at all except to misinform the public and fill a uniform where it touches. Please bring your contribution to your local Police Headquarters and ignore their mocking laughter, for they know not what they do. ... Thank you.
Genuinely shocked at both of those encounters. Both guys wrong but had the good manners and personality to listen to an education and still continue without ego. Thumbs up to both officers. Particularly the second one who even started his interaction correctly informing you about the recording. 👍🏻👍🏻
As someone from Stevenage I was expecting the worse in this video. If I was wearing a hat I would take it off to those two "officers" Polite & apologetic. That don't happen every day 😊 Good job to all involved... including you FP 👍🏽😜
The Police closed the dual carriageway on both sides with cordon tape, diverted traffic around a 6 mile diversion and were conducting a finger-tip search, so I guess it must be serious, perhaps something very serious like a cop has lost a contact lense or a doughnut fell from a Police vehicle and some topping came off. "Proud to support the Thin Red Line".
So, so glad you're uploading again, FP. Your wit creases me; you are simply unmatched as an auditor and have every person that you interact with on absolute strings - a joy to watch. You are the black-belt auditing Grand Master, Sir!
Both officers who interacted were commendable. This is so rare! I hope the young officer who apologized stays a good guy and doesn't become abusive like so many others. Good luck to him, what a young professional.
Wow!! Not only one but two members of the police force that listen and are willing to learn. They have a ego small enough to realise they could be wrong. Brilliant, polite, reasonable and respectful, respect to them both rite back. 👏👏👏👏👏
Oh please, your judgement is off and very poor. He was polite for the camera. He knew he was being filmed. He knew focus was an auditor and probably knew he was an experienced one at that, so he presented himself in the best possible light for the camera. He was literally staring into the lens and fixing his posture and stuttering. He performed well, but his body language was uncomfortable, and his face let me know he wasn't genuine.
Just the great work you and other auditors are doing. That's the first time I've seen a well behaved PC and PCSO in one video. Please bring us more as you are the best auditor.
Excellent display from the younger copper. Easy going, polite, inquisitive without overstepping his authority, willing to listen. A credit to his Force and his training.
I live near Stevenage……so pleased to see they behaved themselves and were willing to listen and learn. Positive moment in a sea of black pills….. Thanks focus- great to see you uploading again
Wow a PCSO and a young officer genuine in their attitudes and the first time i have heard a recognition of an error and an apology, well handled (as always) FP
What a fantastic interaction, and all credit to that young officer - he made an honest error, approached it with integrity & respect and apologised. A credit to the police - would that he were not such a rare example. Hats off to him. I hope he got his money back for his duff training…
So good to see pcso's and officers treating the public how they should treat them, we need more officers like these guys!! Polite, respectful and happy to be corrected when they didn't understand the law. Good to see you posting again too FP!!
Fair play to the young cop who actually listened and didn’t go all gung ho and use the normal threats that we hear so many times, as did the PCSO, both polite and respectful although the PCSO was trying to quote laws that did not apply. Another great vid from FP.
The best thing about this video is that it shows up all other constables and PCSO’s who should learn from the two in this video, exceptional policing and this video should be shown at Hendon on how to conduct yourself with members of the public. Great work and refreshing.
When he asked if he made a mistake and if you minded telling him about it my jaw almost dropped. It's kinda sad that the expectations are so low, but it goes to show that police don't need to be experts and know every law, just being cordial a lot of the times is more than enough.
The cop with the manners looked like he was fresh from the academy, that's why he was nice and polite, he'll soon learn to treat the public with disdain, they'll make sure of it.
Well, slappa my thigh and call me Albert! A PCSO and a Police officer who admitted they were wrong and were willing to listen to someone who knew what they were talking about. Good video FP.
He’s got a twin brother who’s a PCSO up north. Works around the old mills, but he knew it all without referring to the rules. At least this guy was willing to look up and learn. Now the second guy, 🙇
At about 18.35 the young plod (7) says that FP will have to bring the drone down. Doesn't that mean that 7 is commuting an offence of disrupting a drone operator while the drone is in operation.
Wow... a rare breed. A pc prepared to follow force policy, prepared to listen, and having the kind of ego to accept being corrected with grace. He sounds a bit of a rookie cop, but his approach to the public and a willingness to learn will take him far in his career
Have to say those two police officers were jaw droppingly excellent. I mean shockingly amazing. Can you imagine if our pollice force were like this across the board. I tensed up with dread and then that happened. Jesus was just brilliant. Wow.
That officer at the start was great, he apologised and was happy to be brought up in the current legislation around the 249 gram drone. He was always polite as well. Great officer
Agree, its nice to see the respect and humility you mention but the cock sure quoting of false law would piss me off and I wouldn't be able to get past that.
A PCSO AND A CONSTABLE WILLING TO BE CORRECTED, AMAZING, A CREDIT TO THE POLICE... UNFORTUNATELY FEW AND FAR BETWEEN... JUST STARTED TO LISTEN TO OTHER TRACKS FROM VEGETABLES... SCHOOLING, I DIDN'T HEAR NOBODY PRAY, MAN OVERBOARD, TO NAME A FEW, ITS BRILLIANT... EXCELLENT VIDEO, STAY SAFE
For the first interaction with the PCSO - I think FP should throw in an invoice for consultancy. Really if your going to uphold the law, you need to know the law. If you don’t know the law, you need to change your approach so you are simply enquiring what the individual is doing, ask the relevant questions and then do your research before spouting a load of incorrect nonsense. For the second interaction, nearly got it right but not quite. Quality content as usual. What a blessing.
