Absolutely. Her movie on thr migrants in the US had some of the most beautiful shots of the north America country side I've seen.

She has beautiful shots of the countryside, sunset, etc. She has amazing visuals for her movies and seeing how this movie will start from early human civilization to current the visuals will probably be amazing highlighting some of mankind's greatest creations

My trepidation about FF will only be settled if Nate Moore (producer of Eternals, Winter Soldier &Black Panther) is on board.. Watts was a good director but his work with feige on Spider-Man has not impressed me in terms of what he can bring to marvels "first family" at all

Eternals is a Man of Steel-esque, biblical epic-themed superhero film.

It's like Shan-Chi, which didn't feel like a Marvel movie as well. Except this one is gonna be on a larger scale

With big tv ad slots not really a thing anymore. RU-vid is pretty much a cheap advertisement slot that easily gets eyeballs on screens, that helps makes a huge return on their revenue.

Same like I don't know I doubt dune, and Spiderman is like another marvel movie . But this despite being another mcu movie feels different of all the movies marvel has ever produced. Dark. Loving. Powers. THE CAST. VFX and everything is a top notch. This feels so different so unique. I'm most hyped for this one.

There isn’t a single dud in the MCU. Even the first two Thor did good box office wise and are better rewatch then they were then since a lot of its plot points really needed the future events to all make sense. Rewatch them now and they’re really good. Other those two films and maybe the back lash of Iron Man 3 handling of the Mandarin, there isn’t really MCU films that gotten any bad reviews or back lash.

They have different staff for most the movies.

@@AgeDrain They have a few people at the centre like Kevin Fiege who decide what films they want to make and which directors/etc. they hire to make them. It's certainly to Marvel's credit they hire directors like Chloe Zhao, John Favreau, or James Gunn.

Ngl I wasn't interested in Shang Chi and Eternals after seeing their first trailers. But after listening to an early review of Shang Chi I gave it a go and liked it. And after the Celestial reveal trailer of Eternals I am hyped. It's always those you aren't looking forward too that ends up actually being good.

His character turns into the superhero Black Knight in the comics so... maybe in a post credit scenes there's a hint to something in his future?

Phase 4 is gonna see the mcu foundations rocked to its very core with how much multiverse shaking events happening

There's a reason why Bruce banner, Peter Parker, Captain Marvel and all the other superheroes survive accidents and gained superpowers that would've otherwise kill someone, that this movie might explore. There not mutants though, in general humans have a pontential to gain superpowers through exposure to things that might otherwise kill them and become a mutate (a human who gains superpowers) like Captain Marvel or Spiderman or Captain america

Will be interesting to see how they go about the paradigm shift. I see it basically as needing to bring in bigger and badder threats in physical form which they can now do more of with the celestials. Seeing mutants acknowledged is certainly something a big shift is needed for. It's hard to incorporate that though since it becomes a natural genetic mutation for people where they can be born anywhere and everywhere. Judging from how they did Endgame it seems like a common plot idea is to build and build to a climactic final battle where ALL characters are involved in epic proportions. If that eventually means involving the X-Men that would be sweet. Galactus battle would be cool but they always need 'fodder' for the heroes to fight like alien soldiers rather than just one huge threat. So it's like what's the next biggest possible threat that also comes with a legion of footsoldiers to fight such as the Deviants.

Does the MCU really need redefining? I think all this cosmic stuff is a problem. It's like inflation, they have to keep making things bigger and bigger, so that everything that came before feels insignificant. You can make a good down-to-earth movie with characters that we can care about and relate to, and have it be a far better movie than all this cosmic stuff. Fictitious power and visual effects are not enough to make a good movie. Not that this movie can't be good. It certainly could be. But I want to see more "human" movies. IMO, the single best villain in the MCU was Michael Keaton's Vulture, from Spiderman: Homecoming. The car ride scene was more emotionally gripping than anything Thanos or Ultron or anyone else did.

@@PhilBagels They are still making grounded stuff too. The falcon and the winter soldier and the upcoming Hawkeye series are both grounded. Ms marvel and Moonknight will probably be grounded as well
