Watching you in some TV programs and some of the you tube videos have given me some great information.I love the down to earth attitude ! Hope you get er done this year!
Yes thank YOU!!!!! You are gunna be a REALLY BIG name REALLY soon man. Like KVD, Ike, G Man, Skeet, Biffle, Nixon, Martin, Dance, Clunn, Elias, all the greats!!!! Your doing Awesome dude
I honestly don't know how you do it! I have been on the road fishing a National kayak trail and it sure is a different life style. Constant driving, sleeping in different beds all the time, eating strange food (that is mostly nasty...lol), and never feeling like I belong anywhere. I have a new found respect for you and all the guys that tour the country. The mental game is the hardest thing to adjust too. Each lake and its geographic area has its own personality and how you approach it is something you can only learn over time. Being a touring pro is not for everyone, but you are one of the best. Keep up the good work Ott!
Yeah no one ever takes this in consideration they just say i wanna be a professional but dont know what the sacrifice and how versatile and good these anglers truly are half these guys who say this dont even think about how much these guys drive on the road traveling with a huge boat from Texas to Florida to New York. It is alot of hours on the road the fishing part is the easy part for the most part having all your ducks in a row is the hard part for the most part.
Can't wait for you to come back to Raleigh!!! Thanks for the video and all the work that goes in to sharing your craft!! You've always been so gracious with your time, you spent 20 minutes talking with me after one of your seminars at the Raleigh Expo last month. thanks for sharing your thoughts and time with us!
Great start to the season Otter. Good AOY points and that 6 pounder goes a long way toward Heavy Hitters. Now go get a win a the Big O. Best of luck pal.
Awesome job Ott! Good to see a fellow Knoxville guy doing good! One question i have is, how do you swap the bill on that dt flat & where do you get 'em? I have about a dozen & id like to mod a few.
You commented that practice is a waste of time in our opinion. I know guys who take off work to practice the day before a tournament. I don't go out the day before to fish. I just check the spots I plan to fish and check out the lake. I just wanted your comments about pre-fishing.
willie sedlar yeah the thing with it so often is that something major changes like in this event where we had a big rain and the water got muddy and rose a couple feet. Being successful every day means that you have to take exactly what that day gives you and make the most of it. It also makes you trust your instincts more.
