MrShadow205 i wouldn’t necessarily call it lucky. fortunate is more like it. 🙂 us okc fans are very fortunate for chris paul as well. chris paul deserves a ring and okc is where he should win it at.
@@actionjackson5359 I hope he does get a ring but our team wont be contenders for at least 3 years. I almost want him to get traded to a stacked team just so he can get the ring he deserves. Hes getting old.
One of the most saddening careers in the NBA. Injuries just clouded his career and people will always bring up rings when talking about the greatest players.
@A J yup it's with shoes, Isaiah Thomas said he is 5'8 barefoot, they listed him 5'9 to increase his odds of getting drafted in 2011 so I think same thing with Chris Paul
Jeez CP3 has such a brilliant mind for the game. These pro’s really make it easy and I sometimes forget how much they’re really doing because I can’t “see”/understand it myself
I don't doubt their raw talent, but like he said, hooping is the greatest teacher, so a lot of it becomes instinct after doing it a thousand times. Like driving, you don't think through every step now, press the clutch in now, take it out slowly etc. You just know. Pick n rolls are like that. If the defender goes under, make him pay with a shot. If he goes over, keep him in jail and work the mismatch / 2 on 1. Do that a thousand times and you start to not think about it anymore. Then your mind can go to the weak/strong side help defender. Cp3 does have a brilliant mind, no doubt, but I think a lot of it is practice.
CPGoat #3 fr??? 7? I would get if ya said 4-5 but damn bro he’s def atleast #5 imo has to be. Who ya got before him. Imo top 5 ever would be Magic, Stockton, CP3, Steph & then Nash.
Good content. Do more. Improve the flow of the film as it is discussed. See: QB camp with Jon gruden. They use the film as the talking point, instead of talking about the clip. Chris wanted to talk they the first clip and explain the set which would have been awesome, but instead it was a lot of surface level convos about the clip he just randomly is shown. Great stuff though!
I have nothing to add to your comment, I just agree with you. But I’m pretty sure RU-vid puts comments with replies higher, so here I am. (I obv also liked your comment)
@@hub3rty Google how many teams have won a championship and then Google how many teams had hof players and haven't won a championship. Then it shouldn't seem so crazy.
Nah it's for their fans. Most of them are farmers and amish villagers who've never seen or known players from other nba teams aside from their own. This video is for them
He’s a coach and he’s getting a break down from one of the greatest basketball minds in the history of the game Best believe I’d be looking at him the same 😂😂
Sports are fun to play,to be able to break it down like this is cool to see,for the amateur it's just a mystical understanding between a group of people that know each other through repetition, cool video🤟
No could hold him in his prime? To quick and crafty to stay in front of, to strong and balanced to move around. And if u manage to slow him down, he’s finding a seem to throw it to an open man every time.
it's such a pleasure listening to Chris Paul talk. He's eloquent in his speech. talks in a very smart/intelligent way, you can tell that he's very well educated. it's amazing that he improves his basketball IQ off the court as well
Now, this is a basketball interview. It makes me realize how much unrelated stuff takes up the time in interviews, I want to hear these guys break down the details.
What an amazing video. Also OKC has a quality team put together: you see in that first play, you have a good shooter, a good roller/big men with eyes, and guys who are gonna be able to shoot in the corner, as well as 3 good playmakers in CP3, Shroeder, and SGA. Also want to point out that all of CP3s has a quality back up tree: Jrue Holiday, Eric Bledsoe, Darren Collison, all high quality point guards
Wow, this is a really nice video. Why the hell are they talking about trading CP3? They only have this record because this is their first year playing together. But this team looks like it's a piece away from contending.
tae MAC don’t act like they aren’t. Their defense is legit, they’re shooting efficiently, young and athletic as hell. If they get another star at a forward position they could easily contend. Crazy shit happens all the time in sports.
@@BerryMckHawkener ya or ride it out and keep cp3 through his contract while shai, dialo, ferg, and bazley develop. Also Schroder and Nerlons are really underrated player.
I appreciate cp3...one of the greatest pg of all time...and since he 6'ft tall..ive always liked him...I do however think Curry has passed him...but he right there
"Comparison is the thief of joy." In other words, just call CP3 a great guard and don't get caught up he's top 5 all-time and all that BS. Talking heads say dumb stuff like that probably never saw those other great guards play and every era is different. #respect
Huge Raptors fan here but for some reason I respect and admire OKC the most in the west!! Good solid mix of Vets and young hungry players 💪 CP3 is a walking book of knowledge, maybe OKC dumps him when his 44M year comes up or they keep him to nurture the young guns for another season either way this team the way it is has a lot of potential especially with an insane amount of draft picks coming in damn
And a kid who is average size, the number one player he needs to watch is Chris Paul. I don’t have to be super athletic, I don’t have to be jumping out of the gym or have to be the quickest person on the court. Just Work hard, practice the mid range, get your handles the best you can and learn angles and spacing.
