Nice video from you.😊 This is just a friendly tip in case you or others don't know the rules. There are many people who fly without knowing this. Remember, in Norway it is forbidden to fly drones in national parks without special permission. Many have received hefty fines after publishing drone videos from national parks without such permission. I'm no drone police, but anyway you probably have the permission for Dovrefjell in order. I wish you a nice summer. 😊 You can find more information at the homepage of Norwegian Aviation Authority.

Hi thank you for your nice comment and friendly advice. 😊 We are aware of the rules and we respect them as indeed everyone should. I’m a certified drone pilot and always check the local rules and safetofly.no to find out if it’s allowed to take off. In this case it was just outside the national park. Thank you for the heads up. 👍

For everyone who is interested in drone regulations involving Natural Environments in Norway, you can use this trainingsite from the Norwegian Aviation Authority. Very detailed regulations can be found there. training.caa.no/Where_can_you_fly_drones_and_model_aircraft/#/lessons/f-tEwyCWHlc-SLLAI7qkt6GuVs-oD47k

This is an interesting topic for those of us who enjoy nature and outdoor life, we think. We have something in common there, and it's good to see that you follow the rules. Unfortunately, many people don't, either because they don't care or because they don't know the rules, as Here&There indicates. It can quickly affect the rest of us by introducing even stricter rules. When it comes to the national parks and the landscape conservation areas, each of them can have their own rules for drones and motorized traffic. We have applied for permission to fly drones and have been refused in some of them, and that must of course be respected. It is probably due to the degree of vulnerability for wildlife in particular. Very exciting and nice to follow you on your hikes, @Boots and Balance. Great videos. Looking forward to the next episode. 😊 God tur ! 😊
