I believe ''The Hours'' was a masterpiece. The music Philip Glass composed for it was hauntingly beautiful. But what really moved me was the song playing during the second half of your video. You don't credit the writer of the music or the lyric. It's exquisitely beautiful... sad..but beautiful. And the girl singing has a wonderful voice. Who wrote the song? who is the amazing singer and where does this poignant song come from?
Dear Craig.....Thank you so much for your kind comments regarding the song during the second half of this video. The song is called "Voices In My Head" and is taken from the CD "Woolf-A portrait in Song" which comprises of 18 songs inspired by the the life and times of Virginia Woolf. The songs are written by myself, Roger G Taylor and David Harwood Smith and Helen Chappelle. Helen Chappelle is also the singer on this song and the CD. We are disappointed that the persn who uploaded this video did not credit the song or the writers. I am hoping if she reads this comment she can contact me. Again, thank you so much for your kind words, as writers this means a lot to us. Thank you. Best wishes Roger G Taylor
Victoria to Lewes and then change trains to the Newhaven train. Southease is the first stop. Then you walk over the Ouse bridge to Southease village and turn left to walk south along the main road to the next village, Rodmell. Turn left into the old village and Monks House is down the lane on your right, with the Church behind it. (I lived in Lewes for many years!)
