One of the first films to be made on Hindi Writer Nirmal Verma, to coincide with the launch of The World Elsewhere, one of his first books in English translation to publish in London by Readers International, it was aired on Channel 4 in June 1988. Geeta Sehgal, the interviewer, directed the film for Bandung Files.
