In The Mind Of A Villain: Prisoners (Characters) 

As a parent, I can’t imagine the lengths one would go to to find them, to save them, to avenge them. And most people can empathize with that intense conviction to protect children. I loved this movie.

I think that the best characters in this movie are that all of them are a great and dark very unforgettable movie watching experience. Paul Dano once again gives us a great performance and as of that Melissa Leo. I think that Melissa (Leo) is one of the most underrated actors/actresses in the business with her work of performance in tv and other films! Truly amazing movie!

Another movie villain I want to recommend is from a very criminally underrated film called Internal Affairs (1990). His name is Dennis Peck. A very dirty cop in the same vein as Alonzo Harris from Training Day, and it's the only movie where you get to see Richard Gere play such an evil character.

TBH this movie kind of reminds me of a vigilante film called "Death Sentence". Where a seemingly mild mannered man goes to great lengths to protect his family after a street gang kill his son, to the point where the protagonist becomes just as violent and murderous as the gang members
