I just finished replaying the series after all these years, and only now have I realized that the blood stain on the right side of Clem's hat is Lee's blood after he was bitten. It's amazing that they kept that level of detail throughout the series, though it also breaks my damn heart at the same time.
This game definitely made me cry like a little biatch with the end of episode 1. I hate how they ended the final episode. Would have been 1000x better if they made it come full circle.
@@Noahloveless1 I guess in a way it did come full circle. But I definitely anticipated a 5 episode season like all the others. But hey it's better than season 3 at least. XD
@@Noahloveless1 I have very mixed feelings about the ending for season 4. It may have been a better story if Clem did actually die - that way the series would have a finality to it. However, by keeping her alive, the fans are left wanting more which probably will never happen.
I always cry when I get to the ending of 1-2 and final season, no matter how many times I play it. 😭 The new frontier couldn't make me cry much except when they killed the little sister 😔 I'll treasure these masterpieces forever
@@Sikkeskatona i know right, TWDG has left such a huge impact, especially S1 and S2. The emotions were all over the place... will never forget this game
I play it now. I finished one season a few weeks ago, but now I finished play season two, and.. Tears keep going from my eyes.. It's so fantastic and really good and sad game. No words, only tears and emotions.. Hi from Russia 👋
i can see CLem "the little girl " and Lee "your daddy " at the end of the season 1 again where "his body was never found " again T_T through each inch of the song
Little Girl, little girl Don't lie to me, Tell me where did you sleep last night ? In the pines, in the pines Where the sun never shines, Will shiver the whole night through. My daddy was a railroad man, Killed a mile and a half from here. His head was found in the drivers wheel. His body was never found. In the pines, in the pines, Where the sun never shines, Will shiver the whole night through. You've caused me to weep, You've caused me to mourn, You've caused me to lose my home. Little girl, little girl, Where did you sleep last night ? Not even your mother knows. In the pines, in the pines, Where the sun never shines. Will shiver when the cold winds blow
oof that was 5 years ago? i forgot miss those days...kenny,luke,mike,jane,bonnie,nick,sarah,doctor,carver,rebecca,alvin,AJ (baby) ah such good memories but i still think that season 1 was the best LEE!

I miss Clementine, although several years have passed since I passed the game, nastalgia, I was so imbued with its story, as if I lived there in a past life (
Evolution of Season topics: S1: Walkers S2: Lurkers 23: Muertos FS: Walkers Villians: S1: A Stranger S2: Carver S3: The New Frontier FS: Humanity Main Character: S1: Lee S2: Clementine S3: Javier FS: Clementine
The final season had you best ending for Clem. She's been through a fuck ton of shit and I'm so happy she's safe for now. I love this game. I've played all of them and hopefully the new Telltale will make a new walking dead series soon.
It’s not a best ending for her in my opinion. It’s a bitter sweet ending. They momentarily got rid of the bad guys and got their home and friends back, but Clem got bit and lost a leg and AJ had to shoot his best friend Tenn.
Been a hardcore gamer since Atari. And iv seen it all, except when Lee was dying that scene was difficult and probably made most of us cry. Strangely enough the second game was The last of Us when he rescued the little girl from the kidnapper. I truly hope they kept Clem alive for another series of games. I think we all miss Clementine 🧢♥️..
They need to bring Clem back. The fans (including me) aren't ready to let her go yet. She's only 17 in the final season, there's so much they could do with her, though the ending was amazing in my opinion. It would be also pretty hard to play with her considering the ending.
@@illtakethatasacompliment5839 If they did a time skip a few years again, gave Clem a false foot, it would work just fine. I'd love to see more of Clem and Louis, see AJ grow up, see what happened to Christa. I just finished the final season two days ago and I'm left wanting more. Honestly, I can't tell if I would have preferred it if Clem actually did die or not. On one hand, the characters are all alive, safe, and happy, but on the other hand, I'm left dying for more content. If Clem died, there would at least be a finality to the series.
No sir. Clementines been through enough. A remaster of all the seasons with top notch graphics for the newer systems would be enough for me. If they ever made another TWD game it should be with a new cast. Again, clementine has been through enough. Id rather feel like I want more to her story than grieve her wishing they hadn't have killed her because if they do it will be AJ. And yes, I like AJ. But he most certainly isn't main character material like Clem
Personally I shipped Clementine x Violet, but I still agree I would love to see more of TWD. This whole series single handidly made me appreciate point and click games, cry like a baby once or twice, even though I've been gaming 95% of my life, was the first series that made me feel attached to the cast, and at times made me question my morals through some choices. Clementines story might indeed be over, but that doesn't mean the IP has to be; we could still play as AJ. And since pretty much none of the Ericsons kids besides Violet and Louis were fully flushed out characters; I'd be content with a season 5 just taking place at Ericson so we learn more about everybody. Clem, Violet, and Louis would obviously be the three major side characters though
@@TheUndeadOhioan1999 I'd pay top dollar for another season of TWD and the Batman series. I wasn't big on these types of games too up until Telltale came along. I also LOVE anything relating to zombies.
@@MoneyTrees2012as a fellow zombie fiction fanatic to the point I honestly thought more than once what it'd be like to be in a hypothetical zombie apocalypse/end of the world scenario and if I'd survive, I can agree. Telltale might've had its ups and downs throughout the years, but in my opinion it'd be blasphemy if a single person said Telltale doesn't deserve being in the discussion of the best video game developers. Yeah sure the whole "This story is tailored to how you play" is half true; but you just can't deny the FACT that everything Telltale released was a gem. Obviously The Walking Dead, Batman Season 1 and 2, The Wolf Among Us, Tales From The Borderlands, etc
As a music video creator, I pictured all of the scenarios she went through. And everyone she lost, this song connected with all of that makes me cry. Because it tells her story in a beautiful yet Suttle way.
"Lee Everett" Forever in our virtual hearts And so will our tough little Clemmy And of course Kenny and at last... "TELLTALE" 😔😭😢🖤💔 "Telltale's relationship with us has changed forever, and gamers will remember that"...
I just finished season 3 and im about to start season 4. This game has left an emotional mark on me that only greatest if stories can. I forgot to add that Clem is an absolute beast and i love her character so much
As somber as this song is, I'm also starting to see a pattern to In The Pines. Season 2 Episode 2, Clems entire group gets captured and are forced to be slave workers basically. Season 4 Episode 2, Lilys group The Delta raids Ericsons, captures Aasim, Omar, and Louis/Violet and plans to basically train them to be kid soldiers to fight in a war with another group. Add in how Clem also said before the raid something along the lines of "I always get some kind of cold chill before something bad happens; like a calm before the storm". Since Telltale is back I seriously hope somehow they find a way to make a Season 5 even though I will admit Season 4 had a happy ending, if a fifth season does come and theres a group thats hell bent on taking prisoners; I'm just gonna start expecting In The Pines to be the episode credits song
*This song would of been perfect for season two too!* Edit: (This Edit came out like 35 seconds later from scrolling down the comments) *Oof, just realized that it IS in season two lol.*
I knew I would remember this game for the rest of my life but I did of course get over it....once I returned to some gameplay clips and play throughs I got depression once again and I hope to never forget this story...I want it to remain in human history so we can review every detail and moment forever. Yotube dont delete yourself.
Ledbelly owns this song and Kurt Cobain did it unplugged on MTV and knocked it out of the park. Unfortunately you can see at the end of the song, the deep breath and the distant look in his eyes gives it up he wont be around much longer. It was a very haunting moment for those who pay attention to details such as that. But who ever is doing this version is doing a good job. Respectful to the owner of the song. Nice job.
It would of been cool to see the game take a darker route. Maybe subtle hints could be dropped that Ericcson’s is falling apart. Then the raiders end up sneaking towards the school while Clementine boards up the back hallway in the admin building with AJ’s help(as opposed to Violet doing it). The raiders (14 people) set the admin building on fire, while Clem & AJ are still stuck in the back hallway. Clementine yells for AJ to find a way out, and to not worry about her. AJ recites Clem’s first rule “Never go alone.” and she answers with “AJ, are you even listening?! Leave!!” Clem ends up being dazed by how much smoke and heat is coming from the fire. She eventually passes out. Clementine wakes up to her left leg crushed by fallen boards and bricks. Clementine uses her willpower to get out of the fallen boards chanting “I will not give up. I will not give up.” Clementine is able to get out of the fallen debris by some miracle. Her leg is crushed and she now walks with a limp, screaming in pain every now and then. Clementine would still keep chanting “I will not give up. I will not give up.” It would be the player’s task to find AJ and the others. Clem searches the courtyard, calling out for AJ, and her other friends at the school too. Clem still has her gun with her so she is not worried about attracting walkers. She searches everywhere. From the now broken brick outer walls of the school that once kept them safe, to underneath any places where anyone could hide out the raid. Clem starts to lose hope. She wants to be strong so she starts chanting the “I will not give up. I will not give up.” As her voice starts to break. Clementine then starts to search the ruins of the school, hoping to find AJ at least. Clementine finds the half singed body of AJ crushed by bricks. Clem starts to ugly cry. She digs AJ out of the ruins. Clem assumes that AJ was too small and weak to get out alive. Clem holds AJ’s singed body close to her as she bawls. Clem finally has had enough. She looks to the gun in her pocket. Clementine takes the gun out of her pocket, and holds it to her skull, tears falling out of her eyes. The player gets a choice to shoot Clementine or not to shoot Clementine. This is all with the impression that everyone Clementine has known has died. The last thought that Clem has would be “Nothing lasts in the end.” before you shoot her. If you don’t shoot Clem, she bawls even harder then met with the “Nothing lasts in the end.” If you regardless of if you shot her or not. Then the screen turns black and the end credits roll. This could be an interesting way to end the story in my opinion.
Está canción también es utilizada en el juego Into The Dead 2, específicamente en la historia secundaria "La noche de los muertos vivientes" pero una versión más al estilo rock.
