In this session my guest is Jim Coker, from Five12. We dive into the Vector sequencer and he takes us through various methods to utilize the it properly. Some of the topics include demonstrations of the new Arp features, as well as approaches to drum programming and chord sequencing. He answers questions from the Zoom participants. Additionally, he talks about the ability to use the Novation MK3 series - Launchpad X, Launchpad Mini, and Launchpad Pro to control the Vector sequencer.

This is an amazing resource to learn and get familiarized with Vector Sequencer before having one. Tho, I wish the quality of the video was a bit better to see what's going on with the screen. Don't get me wrong, the presenter did an amazing job verbalizing every step and action but I still need some visual feedback especially in parts where the routing options are set. This is an amazingly complicated sequencer so only listening to what is happening is sometimes simply not enough. But I guess it is not about the recording but simply the light and the camera is not good enough.. I wish you shoot a new one with a better setup but I guess it is funny to ask this. Anyway, I love your channel, looking forward to see more videos coming but please please pay more attention to this kinda details in the future, it really matters! Thanks!

Hello! Thanks for the feedback! Yes, sometimes it's hard to zoom into the screens without making the video all hands and some screens do poorly under bright light, but I'll definitely have people keep that in mind when demonstrating next time. This was a Zoom session too so people were able to ask questions live/in that moment, so I think it made it a little easier to be in the moment and follow along because they could stop and ask questions if they wanted to. Then I posted it for the public to see afterwards. I do have few other Zooms that we did a long while back and they may be in similar situations, so I apologize in advance. Going forward, when shooting videos/zooms in the future, I will keep the lighting in mind. I appreciate the feedback. :)

Such a great walkthrough. I'll like most of the euro-world manufacturers but not all of them are good at demoing their products for new users, which is completely fine as not all of us are born natural teachers, but Jim here is an exception to my opinion. great questions from the audience too. loved it, thanks a lot to all involved :)
