yep i said it many times the internet brings out the inner asswipe from a lot of...asswipes lol..cowards who'd never say half the shit in public they do online..its the digital PUSSY generation ;P
The dude invited guitar world's camera crew into his humble Abode to show us his studio and cool gear and all I hear is Complaining.its about sharing music-like Mike did.get it? Rocknroll forever!
Because musicians are jealous, passive-aggressive pussies who are easily threatened by someone better than them. Source: almost 30 years as a pianist, almost 20 as a guitarist, on-and-off professional musician. I have a saying: "hell is other musicians".
MA : Hi! I'm Michael Angelo Batio and welcome to my home studio, MonsterMix Studio. yeaah! The boy who knocks the door : Oh, ok sir, here's your pizza.
Well, not quite every one, LOL. But, before I 'retired' after 60 years in 'the biz' I toured the world and recorded with a top act and I think I know a good musician when I hear one. Michael certainly qualifies.
I love how he's so enthusiastic about everything even after all these years. He even lives in a humble place instead of a giant ass mansion like most people.
Met Michael last year and i must say he is a gentleman . Amazing guy, no ego , very down to earth , I told him abt my dreams with music he wished me luck and even asked my name . who does that after achieving so much in life.
I can't even begin to stress how nice he is. I went to NAMM this year, and I brought my entire Nitro collection, almost two backpacks worth. He looked at me, said "Oh, you brought the mother-lode.". Then he signed everything I have. Took like 45 minutes, he was happy to do it, told me facts about things as he was signing, and other various Nitro stuff. To top it off, we took a bunch of pictures together. If you ever get to meet him, or see him play, DO IT.
+MEGAMIGA ... That's right. I've seen Roland Kirk do it. I've also witnessed Michael doing it. Apparently, not many folks can use both sides of their brain at the same time.
I've seen that and it sounded like a bunch of chickens scratching. Wayne thought he was doing something and he wasn't actually playing anything. He tried to sync an electric guitar with a rap beat. LMAO. What a moron.
I remember when I saw him in my hometown. I didn't get to talk to him, but I know that if I did he wouldn't be a jerk. MAB stood around for hours and talked to the people there. He's just a really nice guy and an amazing guitarist.
True musician to the core.. You see how his eyes light up like a kid in a candy store when hes looking at all his guitars.. Its awesome hes so nice and still has such a fire and passion for the art of it all!
been a fan since 1989. after 92 i didn't think he would ever get reconized. Glad he has new fans & several of his videos on here have had Millions of views. he should form a new Band.
A wonderful guy! I had the pleasure of touring withg him in Turkey and he was a joy to be around. A humble kind man who is such a great guitarist he would shock all the guys who thought they were good :) There is so much to learn from this great artist! I am one of his biggest fans. Reguards from Turkey your guitar brother Awesome John
I have had the same experience with MAB, i met him last year at a guitar clinic in my home town and he was awesome. I am gonna go see him again this year at the very same guitar store.

The device is called the "MAB String Dampener." Michael invented and improved it, based on an idea from George Van Eps and has a patent on it. The MAB String Dampener is great for tapping, cleans up your playing and is available at Michael's site.
I've had the pleasure and honour of meeting MAB when he came to Liverpool and did a performance there. Shook the dudes hand, and I have to say' he's one of the coolest and nicest guys out there. There's no Ego with this dude he's just pure talent. I'd encourage everyone to try and see him in concert at least once! :)
I met him briefly at a clinic/showcase in a guitarshop about two years ago. He's a really nice guy, patient to talk to everyone.I was standing 5 feet from him.He emphasized a lot on his special picking technique, with the hand turned inwards, like a mandoline playing technique.
Michael's new CD "Hands Without Shadows 2 - Voices" will be available at the end of August 2009. Special guest guitarists on MABs new CD include - Mark Tremonti (Creed, Alter Bridge,) Vinnie Moore (UFO) and George Bellas (Solo Artist) plus a few more surprises.
