I honestly like this lyric video a lot. The font is easy on the eyes, I like the way it's spaced out, perfect timing too. Not many people take the time to appreciate that shit, I think the simplicity is beautiful. Nice job.
After reading and listening to the lyrics for a while now I actually think this song isn't about a man at all. I think its a fight within ones self about addiction of self harm. She hates the parts of her that treat her well because she doesn't like herself and they almost allow her to hurt her self more, and loves the parts of her that hurt her because she thinks she deserves it and its a release.
I think she hates the good things he did for her because they give her good memories and makes her miss him. She loves him for the bad he did to her because it makes it easier for her to hate him and not miss him and let go.

Heroin. She's describing heroin. I've seen many people use it. I've seen how they feel and act while on the drug. People think this song is about sex, but it's about drugs, and the love hate relationship they have with themselves because of the drug.

Im an aspiring fantasy writer. Music serves as character inspiration for me and this song fits a character of mine very well. Her name is Sithra and her father is a powerful vampire, her mother is a succubus. She herself, is a very powerful magic user who has access to vast amounts of dark power. Her whole life is cast in darkness and she proudly takes each step of her own free will and choice. She is evil but she hangs in the balance. She never got a choice, never had a childhood. She owns a very wealthy company and despite her evil doings, donates to charity for kids and does toy drives and takes extra effort to make sure kids arent involved in her actions. She has a patron kind of. A devil that is leading her down this dark path. Hes a friend of her mothers. And knew her father. Her relationship with him is described by the second part of the song. The first part of the song tells about her relationship with another of my characters named Julias (angel) Julias and Sithra had a physical relationship at first but she became disillusioned about Julias and his intentions. The first part of the song is her leveling her suspicions at him. "You dont care about me... you only want another soul to 'save' im just a resource for you to plunder!" She is swept up in her fear and conditioned to embrace evil. Julias wants to save her and show her the side of the spectrum she never got to see. The truth about goodness and light. He seeks not to control her choice, but to make sure she has an unbiased view before she does anything permanent. Let me know what you think!
