actually they usually play this on hardcore death metal or metal stations but that's late at night and you want to hear to hard, search up Demona Mortiss inverted heaven now that's some good shit
It's because after they first dropped the song she did those brutal screams so frequently she damaged her vocal cords and had to have therapy for it she can only do this song rarely now or chance destroying her career the real issue wasnt the screams but the pitch of the screams if you listen these screams are ALLOT higher pitched then the ones she does now
@@johnnygolden2914 It sucks when a vocalist doesn’t do it safely so you get things like Maria not being able to do this scream or BMTH vocalist not being able to do harsh vocals. Not that I enjoy BMTH at all but it’s still a shame.
Could always get a scream volunteer, plenty of idiots will blow their throats out for her, surely. Also this song feels like it would require a particular venue, not just any old performance will be fit
Just saw these guys last night at Sokol Underground - Omaha. When they hit the chorus the first time on this song, they about blew the doors off the place. What a great show.
I missed Yeti standing in line; thought the guitarist for Kyng was eclectic, but talented; MIW rocked well; ITM surpassed expectations. And, all for $22.
I was so pissed. I had tickets to that show but couldn't go. Bought tickets again for Sokol upstairs with MIW and got an appendicitis and couldn't go. ...I have yet to see them. 😭
@Bren oh I got my tickets to exactly that tour!! But getting tickets hasn't been the problem. It's been actually getting to the show. 😫 I will NOT let anything stand in the way this time goddamit!!!
I don't understand people who hate so hard on bands & singers, when they too like things that others don't like. Everyone has their own opinions & tastes.
A message from a 42 year old former headbanger, who's been banging his head since Metallica's "And Justice for All" album release, to all the young headbangers who love this video and headbanging in general-take it easy on the headbanging or you will have large and frequent chiropractor bills for neck adjustments in you future.
Piper Manning I loved headbanging when I was younger and now my neck is a mess and goes out of place very easily just by sitting in a bad position in front of the computer. And the cost of a Chiro or D.O. to put it back in place is not cheap. Take it easy on the neck and maybe learn to dance to the music instead.
Nate Johnston Crap dude, that's not good. Many years ago I was at a 15 band outdoor show and I decided to get into the crowd near the stage during Godsmack's show. Now back in the day, late 80's/early 90's, when I used to go see Motley, Poison or Whitesnake, there was no such thing as crowd surfing. But during this Godsmack show I got kicked in the head once by a crowd surfer and second time another 'surfer landed right on my neck. I got out of that crowd and have avoided many of them since. BUT, I've been to concerts with calmer, more mature crowds as well. I was much more careful when I saw Korn in '03, and I saw Brian Welch on his solo album tour in a local church and it was a calm crowd, so was the RED/Demon Hunter/Veridia show I was at in Aug. When I saw ITM at the end of Nov. the crowd was very mature, no shoving or crowd surfing, just everyone listening to the music.
lyrics: Hey cowboy how's it going tonight Come on out and you can buy me a drink hey cowboy I see your pistol is cocked and you got a look on your face like you want to rock Welcome to the gun show Tonight we get wild Welcome to the gunshow Where the dead come alive Hey cowboy I hope your fast Cause I'm the baddest gunslinger ever was Hey outlaw, follow me outside and keep your fingers on the trigger while we put you under welcome to the gunshow Tonight we get wild Welcome to the gunshow Where the dead come alive It all comes down to a single moment The strong will fight and the weak will run slide the bullet in the barrel let me see you count to ten and draw your guns Showdown May the best man win May the best man win May the best man win Welcome to the gunshow Tonight we get wild Welcome to the gunshow Where the dead come alive Welcome to the gunshow welcome to the gunshow Welcome to the gunshow Welcome to the gunshow Come on cowboys Come on cowboys
Maria is quite talented and has amazing screams, she's one of my idols, but i was watching an interview and she said that she never warms up or does anything before going on stage. Which is crazy, because I think she always sounds great, but I wouldn't want her to lose her amazing voice because she never warms up :(
Ok.. But the fact that you implied that they can't do gutturals is just so untrue. Abnormality is such a great technical death metal band and the chick on vocals is essentially a hot as fuck Corpsegrinder.
She is good but I still don't think she is as good as Alissa White-Gluz. Understand Alissa can sing clear lyrical's as well. Just think if Maria did have a good growl that would put her over the top.
Her sound and look is similar to Otep Shamaya, but Otep can growl with the best of them. Metalcore bands growl so to be a true metalcore vocalist she will need to growl. She will always be lacking and someone else in the band will need to fill that role for her.
9/28/22 I remember loving this song back in the day and I just got reminded of it and it is amazing. This IS one of the hardest damn songs that came out in the time especially for a female singer. Maria is a badass and forever will be.
It blows my mind that this chick is so NORMAL backstage. I saw an interview with her and she was just in jeans and a sweater, no crazy costume or makeup. She looked like the girl next door getting ready to go to the grocery store or something. Very soft spoken, sipping a cappuccino.
I remember going to a Korn and Disturbed concert. In this moment was the set before korn and OMG the crowd was insane. She opened up with Gun Show and the mosh pit was just non stop. I even remember taking a break from the pit to really catch a glimpse of who this band was. The screams were just so satisfying really bringing the intense energy. Then the next song was Blazin' and the whole "WE'RE NOT GONNA STOP RIGHT NOW WE'RE GONNA BURN THIS CITY DOOOOWN." My mind was blown and I instantly became a fan. I enjoyed the mosh pit, korn and disturbed brought some good energy however in this moment sustained it for the longest. I looked forward to their return.
I am from the future. It's 2020 where everything is a dumpster fire and within the ashes I found this band and fell in love with Maria... She is my queen now
I like Maria's range in her vocals, that actually pretty damn good, Its been awhile since being intrigued by a band: It makes me feel like a 15 year old kid again. Remember seeing In this Moment concert with my son, and this other fan and me were arguing who was better, Kiss or Queen. My son looked at me and said Dad, how old are you.
she is so amazing i used to listen to slipknot but wow her voice gives me chills from neck to my toes and goose bumps i have never had a womans voice do to me what hers does i would love to try and show her what it does to me my hair is standing up every time i hear her
It's amazing what training your voice can do. Like if I did the "Welcome to the gun shoooow" once I wouldn't be able to speak for a long time. I love Maria so much
I love this song and how I can hear here in 2022. I remember when I first heard it and I was so blown away by Maria's screaming it's so primal and one of my favorite songs she screams to
