Simple reason for thriving & long standing relations of India-Russia: Russia never treated India as beneath them. They always treated us as their EQUAL even back when they were at a position of power compared to India in all aspects. Still they treated us on equal terms. They helped us in every sphere, whether it was our nuclear plants, space & technology, weapons technology, fighter jets, setting up manufacturing plants etc. Russia actually agrees to technology transfer unlike the west. But USA & Europe.... you have a problem of lecturing & interfering in other countries. You have problem with colonial mentality. Thinking you(Anglo-Saxons) are superior to all other races & countries. You deliberately try to sabotage other developing countries growth. Only you have to stay developed, rest of humanity should suffer. That's why you never share technology or even something as simple as vaccines. We saw how you left others to die during Covid while you hoarded 5 times the vaccines actually needed by you.

The thing is, Russia doesn’t look down on anybody.. they do not consider themselves superior or don’t consider anybody less inteligent.. The US empire nations look down on other people.
