I'm glad you found my channel and are enjoying it! Trust me, moving on decks is a very hard, lengthy process for me. And it breaks my heart to move them on. I just feel so bad doing it. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that it's somebody's creation and its their pride, joy, and hard work. Living in a decommissioned church that's over 120 years old has been a crazy journey. It definitely has had its ups and downs. : )

@@sootandsalt that sounds so interesting. I would love to see a roomtour but of course that might show to much personal stuff. With letting decks go I'm totally the same. Always takes me a really long time to finally do it and even then it's an emotional bye bye. Even though there's no personal connection that was created with it. But I really appreciate that you clearly say that there's nothing wrong with the deck but that it's just a personal thing in terms of it didn't resonate with you. Some people don't do that and are really blaming the deck in terms of it being the worst deck ever and stuff.

I'm so glad you're enjoying my videos! I really appreciate the kind words. That's a great tip about Amazon! I'll have to see if it helps. Deck overwhelm is a real thing that can be a huge issue. To me, it's important to have a well currated collection that connects and works for you. Quality over quantity. There's no reason to keep decks that you don't feel called to use. Rehome them after making sure you dont connect. It's hard when you are trying to figure out your style/taste and purchase everything that interests you. There are just so many beautiful decks available! I feel it's important to learn yourself and fine-tune your collection. For example: I only occasionally use animal-based decks, so there is not really a reason to have a bunch. I also dont connect with certain styles of illustrations no matter how popular they are, so I don't bother with those either. Also, don't impulse buy. That usually never turns out well. A personalized, well curated collection will never feel overwhelming. Rotation and developing a strong personal practice (using/reading system) is key as well. : )

I'm in Canada, and yes, I got it on Amazon.ca. I was tired of trying to find the linen edition, so I gave up and bought the one on Amazon. They never updated any of the images or info, so I figured I was getting the older version, but it was the linen edition that showed up. I was so surprised!
