I've been with nationwide for about 8yrs now they have been brilliant and their ads reflect their approach in that they do offer better interest rates when available and don't just treat you like a number but like you actually matter.

Brilliant advert . Banked with them for years and had my mortgage with them . Never had an issue it’s brilliant tv . where I live the banks are closing and the building society’s are opening . Hence they are all getting some of my money . No bank has mine anymore

I agree - thing is Nationwide sucks (I've been a customer for years, its a granny bank). What you want is challenger banks like monzo, starling, revolut etc. They are way better - if you're under 90, don't bother with Nationwide they suck.
