#inart #superman #review This is my review on the new 1/6 scale Superman figure by Inart. Please Like, Share, Comment and Subscribe. Thanks for watching!
Congratulations on the acquisition and thanks for the great review, posing and lighting. The figure looks incredible. Happy collecting to anyone who purchased it. Good luck with shipping delays. ✌️
INART you mother flippers!… give Dean the opportunity to get these figures early… there is no one out there reviewing 1/6 figures even close to his standard! Do it!
Incredible job showing us first look of the figure. Thanks Dean. Figure looks incredible. Can't wait to get mine. shoulders could've been more bulkier but still looks great
Great review and awesome video! Head sculpts and materials are 10/10! How ever they missed out on accuracy on the suit😢 all the rubber elements are there. But in the wrong location. The kryptonian lettering on the arms are too low. But i Can live with that. My Big issue is the Lines going up from the belt. Wrong angle. That part that stops in front of the armpit should be on the back… dont know Why Inart didn’t fix that. Thats crazy to me😮
Awesome review dean have the hot toys and love it, But this blows it out of the water wow next level stuff!!! Inart would be best served sending you more to review!!! Iconic review like always!! Get it done inart I'm getting this 100% thanks to you!! Completely agreed on inart doing Batman begins
I have that third party black suit superman that came out a couple years ago, with some other head sculpt that I have no idea where it came from. I think it's possibly a scaled down Prime 1 head or something. Looks way more like Cavil than the Hot Toys or the head that came with the figure, but the paint job is a little lacking, but at a distance looks awesome. InArt definitely nailed the likeness, but I'm just not a big enough Superman fan to drop around $600 for this. At least this was actually available through reputable retailers. I personally am kinda sour on InArt because I never received my The Batman. Ended up having to file a claim against the website I ordered from in order to get my money back.
@@mcguzman5398 Toyswonderland, Toys Apollo, or whatever name they have next month. I ordered from them because Justin was always touting them. Don't order from them ever.
I’m sorry that happened, but how is that on INART? That’s on the retailer you got The Batman from, which was also available on OneSixthKit which is a reputable retailer.
You got the figure pretty quick!, good review, the head sculpts are great, I don’t like the look of the upper torso and the muscles in the abdomen look flat, maybe is your lighting, in my hot toys I can see better those muscles, I have the figure in PO, so I’ll see if that change when I see the figure in person.
Dean is the BEST reviewer by a long shot!! WOW just WOW!!! Dean ur a LEGEND dude!! My wife goes "wow i hope u got this figure coming"... "this guy just sold me!" ... Thanks Dean! lol 😂
Excellent review Dean. Done the figure justice. Your review process, lighting and detailing has really sold this figure and made the best of it. Inart need to keep sending all their figures for review to you. Reviews like this prevents those silly Nokia 3210 pictures making their figures look terrible. Hence it's important to get them to channels like this. Won't get this on any other channel.
Looks really solid, and a nice review. I also agree with you on a Begins and Batfleck. Begins is a real opportunity to show the quality difference (and that's as a non-Nolan fan). My only negative would be the repeated J word drops lol.
Thanks very much, Andrew mate 🙌 Really appreciate your thoughts. You know I'm all about that Batman Begins action 🥴 It would sure be interesting to see, but I understand if a lot of people have seen enough Nolan Trilogy figures by now.
I vouch here for the words of Dean about Henri Cavill. Also going to extend his words to Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, and Zack Snider. Imo the trio did a fantastic job bringing the characters to life, and Snider that brought the comics references to the big screen.
This is that kind of figure you maybe ain't fan ot that specific character BUT the figure it's so damn cool you wanna own it...The monkey in my head is screaming...pretty hard to resist...I just would have loved to see how articulations are 😉
Thank you! Was rushed to make it for the Review embargo. Figure arrived last minute. Didn't want ro be late on my first Review for Inart. Definitely, shold have covered more on articulation, but tried to convey that with the poses. If I had more time 🤔
@@cmbrock1 I ended up having to file a claim against the website I ordered mine from because the window to get my money back was rapidly closing and I wasn't willing to risk spending close to $600 on a figure I was never going to receive. I tried cancelling my order but after 5 emails and never hearing back once, I did what I had to do. Luckily I got my money back and have now spent the money to pimp out my hot toys.
@matrixz6 I'm waiting still 😂 I'll probably get it opening night for the batman 2. 😂😂 but all jokes aside I know I'll get it, I got my inart joker but It took a bit. I order from specfictionshop and they are pretty reliable and nice. I think they are just waiting on them still.
Top Review man! Loved the detail. Always appreciate the lighting to really showcase these figures man! Hope the wait isnt too long for mine after seeing this.
INART has set the bar very high when it comes to 1/6th scale figures. There have been some great Superman figures in the past, such as the Hot Toys Christopher Reeve and Man of Steel Henry Cavill Superman. However, the INART Superman is on another level. Both head sculpts are phenomenal, especially the default head sculpt. The realism and lifelike nature make them look like actual photos of Henry Cavill when you did the photography, which is excellent as always. The hair has been nicely sculpted and painted. The paint application is absolutely flawless. I love the vein work that was done to the head sculpt with the angry facial expression and hands. The suit looks great. I love the way that the chrome body was utilized. The hands fit seamlessly into the wrists. Both capes are beautiful, especially the one the default one. It drapes and flows naturally. I like the display stand and card. Even the manual has been nicely presented. You know a figure is special when something as basic as a manual is impressive. I like the box art as well. Superman doesn't come with much in terms of accessories, which is fine. He looks so good, and the quality is high enough that the figure alone is worth the price in itself. Stellar work on the part of INART! They obviously have a lot of passion and dedication when it comes to their craftsmanship. This is an absolute masterpiece plain and simple. Thanks, Dean! As always, I appreciate the hard work, dedication, and passion! Keep it up! God bless and stay safe!
That angry sculpt is a 10/10. So awesome. I'm not completely convinced by the neutral sculpt though. It's way better than any of Hot Toys' efforts, that's for sure. The body and proportions look great!
inart is realism very best way better just the hate the wait time but with time the company grow hopefully sorts it out but hands down inart all day wow. they are doing great things just have to be patient look at what u get. they have put hot toys to do more now. still inart by far u need to check Aragorn is wow. this exceptional worth it
Nice review! I am curious how that headsculpt would compare ,not to the outdated HT ones ,but rather to the incredible custom ones I’ve seen shared in the fb groups . But what i have as a question to you is about the joints . How do the elbow and knee joints look bended ? I mean , i am assuming this is not a seamless body ,right ? And it’s in a very tight suit ,which often gets material clamped in exposed joints ,when posing ,and the joints are visible through the skin tight suits . So, is this the case with this figure as well? Asking ,because i have this figure on PO,and i have grown very tired of InArt’s inability to actually deliver in time officially released figures ,which made me sit in the fence about ,wherever i should cancel my PO on some of their figures .
Good questions. Jedha Patrol covered this in his review. The knee joints look a little crude when bent past a certain point, while the costume does seem to bunch and get caught in the elbow joint. Jedha repeatedly voiced his concerns over the potential longevity of the suit, it's very thin. Jedha's main gripe was once again with the hands - he hates having to use a hairdryer every time he swaps them out. He also didn't like the silver wrist pegs.
@@dangiambrone7350 thanks! I guess i have to check that review out . And it sounds like exactly what i was worrying for .(And why I’m thankfully Jazzinc are going with seamless body for Catwoman)… And in the way it’s built ,with the silver body to have the full effect ,might create a quite imperfect body-swap ,if one tries to put a phicen body to hide the joints. Not to mention the hands might not fit ,and the color of the skin.
Awesome review Dean, InArt made a great choice having you review their product(thanks Logan and Justin for laying the stepping stones that led to Dean reviewing Supe's 1st). My 1 and only critique of your video is the lack of time spent showcasing the articulation of the body. I'm curious how much range the torso, hip joints, leg joints have. Do the butterfly joints have sufficient range?
Thanks very much. There was a release time set for all Reviews, and my figure arrived here at the very last minute so I was really pressed for time. Might have to do a part 2 🤔 but others have covered the articulation pretty thoroughly by now. My next focus should really be the true Light Review outdoors 🤜🤛
This, by far, is the best 1/6 Henry Cavill Superman to date!! This is the version of the BvS Superman that I've been wanting for 8 years. Hot toys tried several times but never really nailed it, IMHO. Awesome review and lighting, Dean! I'm looking forward to your true light showcase.
The likeness is so good, these little action figures do such a great job on the likeness, a lot of them are just as good, maybe better than the Prime1 DC 1/4 & 1/3 resin statues.
Dean. I think I’ve finally figured out what the point of “the influencer” batch is. It’s for people like me who have these things on pre-order, who are on the fence about keeping it. I was having serious thoughts of dropping it but decided to wait for *your* review. Your reviews are special Dean. You have a knack for showing these things in another perspective. The one thing I would add to this figure is chest hair! I loved Henry’s “man cleavage” that would poke out from the top of the suit… at least in the latest incarnation of his Supes. ;) Dean! I’m sure you’re going to be reviewing Paul Atreides. Better listen to the audiobooks friend. Be in the Dune Know. I’m super looking forward to you reviewing him. Keep up the great work!
Inart's John once said that the primary reason for the "influencer" batches is to boost the profile of the brand and get collectors onboard for future releases. By the time the influencers get a hold of their review figures, those pieces are long since sold out. I very much doubt this Superman will be available now, and if so, it will only be the units of those who've cancelled their orders.
@@dangiambrone7350Exactly, that’s the whole point behind the so-called Influencer Batch but most don’t understand. I wish INART did not listen to certain RU-vidrs with the naming however. They should’ve called it “VIP Batch” (like they do for the big profiles in China), that would’ve made more sense and lessened the confusion.
@DeanKnight333 - Bruddah Dean, Great review, sir! Looking forward in receving my own Inart Supman (Henry Cavill). Thank you for taking the time with your reveiw... Kudos! ~ HAWK 😎
Fantastic review Dean, finally a worthy reviewer for Inart figures. All the luck to you for more Inart figure reviews in the future 👍 We need inart to give us a Batman Begins figure on this level, once again great review.
Fantastic review as always! I was excited all day & had the evening setup to cast this review on a 4K TV. The quality is just amazing mate, your close up shots, the lighting, the music, it’s just something else. Can’t wait for mine to arrive, hoping their QC holds up for later batches! Great job, I always feel reassured in this hobby after watching a review by Dean Knight!
I was on the fence before pulling the trigger on this one because of the price but I am so happy I did, looks unbelievable! hopefully I'll get it before 2027 🤣
Typing as I'm watching... - At long last!! Well done Dean, nice one, and well done to Inart too. - Yes, Henry was done dirty. While I'm not the biggest fan of Snyder's Superman films, there's no doubt that Henry did a fine job with what he had to work with and certainly looked the part. - The angry sculpt looks much better than the prototype imo, more like Henry, looking just like he did when he shouted at Lex: "where is she?!!". - I like the Hot Toys MOS figure, but was never a fan of the BvS Superman figure. The likeness was off with the big nose, and the body is terrible with those chicken drumstick legs. - @6:00. Fantastic. Hair stranding (if only everyone else could make the strands that thin), head shape, facial features, skin tone, eyes ..... pretty much perfect. He's wearing the expression he wore when he walked into the court room. - @13:52. Money shot. Even though the figure looks almost perfect to me, from what I can gather, there are a number of inaccuracies relating to the patterns of the symbols on the suit, and the suit not being a dark enough blue. It'll be interesting to read the comments. Great job Dean. I look forward to your follow-up content, especially your true-light material.
Thank you! Very much appreciated you taking the time to comment your thoughts 🤜🤛 Waiting for the sun to rise, then I'm filming the True Light video. Please England, don't rain 🤞
Great review. I’m most interested in an inart TDK suit bale batman. Even though we’ve seen so many attempts from hot toys, they’ve never nailed it. I really feel like inart would bring something new to the table with the proportions and headsculpts and give us the 1:6 TDK Batman we’ve always wanted.
What i like about inart is a genuinely feel like they are trying to nail it first time around, where hot toys you just know 2.0 is around the corner or another update or release
Awesome review. I think it’s a solid 10. Problems: the movie came out 9 years ago, Snyderverse has been scratched… so there is not that much hype around Cavill Superman.
Superman, Cavill's Superman and Henry himself has a large number of fans so expect anything related to all three should remain popular for quite some time. It helps that it's a very impressive looking figure. Also, this figure seemed to sell out relatively fast compared to other Inart figures on various websites.
But Cavill Superman is a pop culture icon and BvS Dawn of Justice - while divisive - still gave us the DC Trinity together for the first time in live-action, a cinematic iconic moment. And INART is definitely planning to recreate that in figure form at some point. The film/moment will always have an everlasting impact in pop culture.
Great review! Thank you!!! Figure looks fantastic but likeness isn't as strong as it used to. Seems they altered eyes and eyebrows, idk why as prototype sculpt was 100% perfect.
Damn he is amazing, I almost preordered him a while back cause he's my favorite superman, and I love those films. But I had so many on preorder. Waiting on my inart batman still. But this here is amazing. I wish I had gotten him. Great review, Dean. You deserve a million subscribers, my friend . How in-depth you go is amazing. Have a great day, buddy ( oh yes I would love inart to do a batman begins figure and more. I know they are doing a dark knight figure and me being a huge fan of that trilogy I will be getting what ever they release from those film. I do what a demon batman and Gordon 😮 so stupid I missed out on those and didn't order them many years ago.
Wow i know it looks real but you made it even more real with the different lighting is something that others don't do if this figure is still out there for pre order you just sold him out. Inart, hot, jnd should think again were they send there figures to first even if the figure looks bad you have a way of making it look good great job inart should send all there creations to you it would be the smartest thing they ever do.
As a fellow Enterbay 1/4 "Beast" (with a very nice custom cape) owner, I would have to give the nod to Dean's 1/6 custom. It's the best BB figure I have seen. I'm confident that Inart can give us something of a similar standard.
