Ever since Inart said they'd be doing Phoenix Joker Ive been anxiously awaiting it. They teased it for the first time before the Ledger Joker was even announced. I dunno, I understand people being put off by the price and whatnot, but Ive wanted a high end 1:6 Phoenix Joker since the film came out.
@@mr.momcollectibles I've pre ordered the 2 pack. The 4 pack was a bit beyond what I can afford. I do like the hospital version, I love the expression on the sculpt but I can take the figure or leave it. I absolutely love the bathroom scene version, because I love that scene. Although I'm a bit put off by his eyes being closed on the sculpt. I know it fits the scene and whatnot, but I just think its a little limiting in terms of poses.
There are different segments of the market now, and companies are smart to cater to each niche. 3rd party figures have their place. Even JND has their place, mainly catering to their loyal fanbase, statue collectors, and those seeking the newest tech. Inart has carved out a nice place for themselves, positioning as a premium line with rooted hair against the customer figure market, which easily exceeds $1k for even a headsculpt. I think the savvy collector should wait this out, and watch the market get flooded and saturated as collectors part out their sets. I've been able to find the Ledger Rooted deluxe sets for nearly half price, and I think there will even be more sets of these since Inart has won over many collectors since then, and there seems to be no limits on pre-orders. All too often, I see in-hand figure deals pop up on the resale market, while collectors are still waiting on the sidelines for a company to deliver their POs at full price.
I have been agonizing over this one for a few days and finally caved tonight! Got the 2-pack. I didn’t have to have Arthur but I had to have red suit joker. I do really love the idea of having the transformation he makes in the film represented by having both though. This is my favorite Joker. Joaquin is masterful in the role.
Amen to everything you said brother. I too loved this movie and since I changed my collection from 1/6 to 1/3 statues I will be purchasing a 1/3 Joker statue that I already previously owned but looking forward to getting it back!
If $440 each for the 4 pack is crazy, the 2 pack works out like $650 each 👀 When I seen this I thought yeah, I’ve got a couple grand to get them, sure - But then I got back to the real world and realised… I’m a nutcase, I’m not spending 2k on 4 figures what am I thinking 😂😅 $400 for a 1/6 figure is my max, apart from iron men and the inart Gandalf I love those figures!
I’m sure you’ve heard this before but it’s what they do with Jordan’s. They raise the price to see if people will buy it because they are willing to after market so they’re slowly matching the after market price
For me the Joaquin Phoenix Joker is the number two joker which is better than Heath. I already preordered the 4 pack and since I'm in mainland China, I can use 4000 point in their official Wechat app to let Inart deliver it for free which saves me for about 20 bucks. Back to the product, it's really good and perhaps the only 1/6 Joaquin Phoenix Joker made in 7 years. The director of the 2019 Joker movie set the standard that the film related product can not be under 1000 dollars. So for me, sell the bathroom one will be the option because I think 500 dollars for one figure and the base are a little too high. Besides, I don't like the base, it's disproportionate and small. In the movie the Murray Franklin show's window should be larger and higher.
I think the price for the 4 pack is a pretty decent value. It's the sticker shock of all that money all at once. But also, a lot of people aren't trying to do so many of this one character. I would get him...because I love the movie, and I love him in this role. And I'm wondering what's gonna happen if they make Harley from the second movie and then I don't have Joker to go with her...because I will buy her for sure. I don't know man it's a real head scratcher. I don't have the space for 4 of him...I don't wanna buy the 2 pack because I'd rather have the 4 pack. I would be happy with just the Joker figure...but that's not an option here, unfortunately...
great value for sure for the 4. However, not buying simply because it would be a display of mental illness, I don't accept weakness and illness in my collection. it would be like collecting an Annabelle doll, a bad omen
Wait...Kit includes shipping in his cost? If that's true then that makes a difference...but damn...$1478 is a BIG payment to get hit with all at once when shipping happens.
Yeah that's a lot. I think I'm gonna have to admire this one from afar. I've not made any preorders so far this year, save for the two Peacemaker head sculpts and accessories. I'm gonna see how far I can push myself to not purchase something.
Shipping is 60 usd flat rate through Spec, if ordered before february ends. For me its plus like around 170 to cross it to México,stil cheaper than kit and I can avoid 20% customs taxes. I know everyone trusts Kit, I dont, bad experience. He failed to ship a figure due to a problem on his side, in the chinese border. He offered to cancel and refund, I said yes. But theeeen he cancelled all my other pre orders and blocked my account, like wth 😅
