This was so amazing! iNaturalist changed the trajectory of my life. It provided me a whole new way to study and interact with the environment. It led to me getting a 2nd degree in biology and focusing on biodiversity after retirement from the military. Thank you to your amazing team!

I'd like to request iNaturalist to upload clear tutorials of how to use various features on their website. I am not a tech savvy person, but decided to make my first ever place recently. I found the process very technical and confusing, I also struggled to find information on the process. I had to visit various scattered forum posts, some of which were out of date. An example is that once I made the place, I followed a users old advice and waited days for the "species" tab to update automatically... After 4 days I later read on a different forum post that there was a glitch where it never updates anymore? So I had to make the list myself. When making the list I didn't understand all the features and options very well. I did manage to make a list, but I'm not entirely sure if it has been done correctly. I think it would be very helpful to have a professional tutorial on the iNaturalist youtube channel. Something people can go to and watch that is clear. Word of mouth on the iNaturalist forums isn't a very nice way to try and learn, I'd much rather learn from iNaturalist itself.
INaturalist creators have empowered me to learn and share about the diversity and behaviors of life, not just of the popular species, but more importantly the species ignored by most people.
iNaturalist is such a powerful tool for me. I have learned so much about the living organisms in my area (Gold Butte National Monument, NV) . For me, it started out as a way to lean the names of the different plants. But then it has grown to seeing the living community as a whole. I look for structural characteristics and try to imagine how those characteristics help organisms survive. I think more about strategies the organisms use to perpetuate their species. The more I learn, the more I can share with the visitors to our area. Additionally, I feel humbled that my contributions may someday help further the body of scientific knowledge and promote our efforts at conservation. Thank you so much!!!!
Excellent but I want iNaturalist call stakeholders to fucus on Africa more especially in Nigeria were ongoing mass deforestation continues to affect biodiversity and Conservation hunting for bushmeat and other illegal activities
