I recently flew in B737-700 from Mumbai-Srinagar on 9th and back to Mumbai yesterday Also on Bombardier Q400 from Belagavi-Mumbai on 8th and Mumbai-Belagavi yesterday Will upload soon
I've actually been watching your videos to try and get over my fear of flying. I have my first flight near the end of September. I'm definitely still nervous, but your videos have helped me familiarize myself with the different noises the plane makes. Thanks.
I’m very glad my videos are able to help you in that way. And you’re not alone. You’re not the first person to tell me that they have helped a great deal with that. I’m always happy to hear when my content is helping people overcome their fears! Thanks for watching, and you’ll have a great trip! I know it.
Great capture of the unique noise abatement visual approach into SBA...cut a 45 angle from the coast to the runway centerline and at the greenhouses hang a left turn to line up with runway 25.
Haha. I did have a rambunctious family sitting around me. They were never obnoxious. But they had a lot of small children, and they were excited. It’s only natural! They did provide quite the entertainment haha.
Another stunning video! Looked like a great inaugural flight to SBA! Really exciting to see Southwest start flying to all these new destinations! A little sad you didn't get California One for the "inaugural-inaugural" from Las Vegas, but at least you still got the celebratory water canon salute after landing and it was great to see it leaving at the end! Here at MSY we had Louisiana One and Lone Star One visit for the inaugural IAH flights on the same day!
I was disappointed that Southwest did not put a state flag livery on our flight. I figured Las Vegas would probably get California One. Historically, Southwest likes to fly the state flag livery of the city they’re flying into on the first-first flight. But, I was hopeful, that they would put Colorado One on the Denver flight. Obviously, that did not happen. Either way, it was still a good inaugural flight. And so was the flight on the way back.
@@sla31 Yeah, for sure. I think I even told you I was thinking Colorado One since you originated in Denver. Guess it kind of worked out that you flew on New Mexico One last month though. California One was an obvious choice and I guess since technically that was the first inaugural flight to SBA. But yeah, Southwest always seems to have some tricks up there sleeves for special occasions. I remember when the new MSY terminal opened, we had 4 or 5 state liveries RON not to mention some other carrier’s special liveries. It was pretty cool to see so many special liveries parked together at the same terminal! But still glad you had a great experience! Can’t wait for all the other cool flights from this month!
Visually stunning views from up there, you really capture very unique scenery!! Looks like it was a great flight, and the engines were barely above a whisper, thank you sharing these beautiful videos!!✈️
By the time you finished your taxi roll, you must have already been in Utah lol. KDEN isn't called the largest airport in the States for nothing, you even had an A320 racing you to the start line ha ha! Nice one B, take care and regards from the UK :-)
2nd largest in the world! That A320 was booking it too. Southwest taxis fast, that Frontier was nearly generating enough lift to takeoff haha 😆. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a plane taxi faster. They must’ve had somewhere to be. As always, thanks for watching my friend!
So many options as a subscriber: put it on 1080p and experience the flight yourself, fall asleep to the engine noise, zone out to the passing landscape, enjoy the build up to take off and landing. Great channel,,💖
I'll be the first to admit that I cheat on watching your full flights--I normally fast forward sometime after the takeoff and initial climb,FF'ing to final descent, touchdown and taxi to the gate--interesting cloud line on descent, they come up just short of the mountain range and abruptly stop--into the soup we go,surprising me with an overcast day in southern CA.Odd routing to the terminal, you cross the runway twice during your taxi, guess Ground Control wanted to give you a grand tour of SBA!--upon reaching nose to nose with California One,you can hear and almost feel the substantial power up on one engine into the gate--impressive! SWA knows how to do it right with inaugural flights gateside although didn't see much if anything at DIA--did you simply do a turnaround at SBA,headed home? Any avgeeks spotted on either end?
I remember catching a flight in the late 1980's on a 732. I was pretty dissapointed when I couldn't get a window seat just aft of engines 1 or 2. I managed to get one a couple of rows forward of the left wing though. Pre seating accommodations were a little different then.
@@jasonmoors1191 Sure Do - Only makes sense in order to expedite the seating process; and perhaps prevent someone from sitting where they shouldn't be (eg. First Class).
@@csantos3045 Nice! I was an international student from Edinburgh in the UK (2006-09). It's a beautiful campus, in a great town, I've been back twice on vacation. Hope you enjoy it!
That’s just where they have their gate at Denver. I suspect that will change though now that Alaska has entered oneworld. I imagine they will move their gate to terminal A next ti American.
Nice to know that there is a route from Colorado to Santa Barbara I wonder if there is one from Santa Barbara to Colorado by the way ice view of the snow caps mountain in Colorado!
I've transferred at DEN airport one time en-route to San Francisco. Unfortunately I didn't have the footage of it because while in the airplane, I can't even film and that I had to turn off the phone for safety reasons. Even if the phone was on airplane mode, i still can't film because filming require either wi-fi or cellular signals
At the moment, although I haven’t booked anything yet, I am planning on taking all three inaugural United flights. A lot has to work to make that happen, but the way it’s scheduled, it is possible to do.
How much do I pay for these, as in how much do I pay for my tickets? Well, if that's what you're asking then it varies wildly. I mean, just like anytime you'd buy a ticket, the price can vary a lot. But, I do pay for every flight you see out of my own pocket. So, considering I had 15 flights in May, 19 in April, and when June is done 22 that month... It can be a lot...
Yes, in fact, I have several flights booked on 175’s soon. That said, I have flown on the 175 many times before. You can find those videos by searching “Embraer ERJ-175 sla31” or “Embraer ERJ-175 Skylite Productions”
I mean, I’ve never had that request before, but I suppose I could. It would require a special type of order/set up. All of the merch that is listed on each video is made to order by Teespring. I don’t actually have any of the merchandise in hand, unless I order a bunch of samples. If that is something you would really like to do, my email address is listed in every video description, and you can send me a message that way. That way no one is having to give any information out in public comments.
At 2:14:49 I see "A321" and "737-9" meaning 2 things: SWA isn't the only guys starting new service routes there and the -700 isn't the biggest they are going to see👀
