An Inauguration video on #platform7byBinaiSankar !!
This video is from a journey from Trivandrum Central (Thiruvananthapuram Central) to Kasaragod by the 02634 Vande Bharat Inaugural Special train. This was a pass only journey - open only to invited passengers. The end-to-end journey on the inaugural train took a little less than 10 hours, including 14 stops!
The regular service of the Vande Bharat express (20633/20634) would take only a little over 8 hours to cover the 580+ kms journey from Trivandrum to Kasaragod!

awesome.inagural video..coverage was well done except for clarity....if too many stops were given then this would b just a normal train service. i hope they upgrade the track & signalling to accelerate speed. so many tracks -curves problems to b eradicated.

Too many stops will not make this a normal train service - even with double the number of stops than it is at present, the train would still be the fastest on the route. Track upgradation is already happening - curve straightening is not an easy process and would take a lot of time to happen.

Great vlog without the noise and clutter. It's not NSG, it's SPG. Isn't 12000 HP an overkill? Maybe not all motors are live at any given time.

I guess Wap7 powered lhb coaches can easily match the timetable of current VB. To be noted in 2023,we are speaking of 60-70 avg speed trainset as world class. This at best an attempt to modernize much delayed development of railways

It cannot, unless you are speaking of a 3 coach rake with a WAP7. Distributed power train sets have a lot of inherent advantages.

And, we must overcome the thought that only high speed is improvement. The ride quality and comfort level is vastly different.
