Inbox Review of the 1 48 Scale P 43 Lancer from Dora Wings V2.0 

I thought the MB 151 I built from Dora Wings was really good, and had a P 43 on my wishlist, so when I saw this I had to grab it.
The P 43 was an important aircraft at the outset of the war. Until the introduction of the P 38, the P 43 was the only aircraft that could intercept the Japanese K i 46 Dinah Recon aircraft. The P 43 had a good oxygen system and excellent high altitude performance. It had a Pratt and Whitney R-2180-1 Twin Hornet engine, which could produce 1,400 HP. It had two .50 cal machine guns in the cowling and at the start two .30 cal machine guns in the wings, which were later upgraded to .50 cal.
This model kit looks just about as good as the MB 151 I think. Should build into an excellent example of a P 43. Dora Wings is really impressing me, they also have a Vultee Vengeance and Vultee Vanguard in the works, direct on the Wishlist.
